You are quickly becoming my favorite youtuber. Not only do you review shoes, but you give running tips and life lessons! Looking forward to a new vid every day, idk how you do this with a full time job, double runs, kids, filming and editing. You are an inspiration. Keep grinding! Cheers from Denmark.
This is my first time watching any of his videos, but I’m subscribing bc of this comment. I’m getting back into running after a looooooong hiatus. Going to start binge watching now 😅
Great video! Got my first On running shoes this year, the Cloudeclipse. They’re great for casual wear, walking, and Zone 2 running. They’re soft without being too mushy and have a great rocker providing an excellent, smooth ride.
Excellent video for the ON Cloud 2. I ordered from Dicks last week, need a wide (I'm a EE and EEE) and hope they work. Returning from Europe tour walking 20-40K steps per day. My feet swelled up wearing the New Balance Fresh Foam Roav (old school). The cushioning not enough and banged up the front big toe not long enough! The review is like an everyman's guide of what to expect from this shoe. I have been a runner 10K-Half-marathons, Triathlons Olympic distance and Martial Arts/ Fitness nut etc. I'm 80 yo now and injuries have caught up. Looking forward to this shoe for comfortable maintenance training!
This was a great video, the “offset” killed me. Just started running and grabbed these after a little instore analysis. Thanks for the great video, you also have a lovely family ❤
Love this shoe. It’s not my favorite running shoe but it’s a perfect walking shoe. I made constantly over 30.000 steps a day over a week and they are extremely comfortable. No pain at all absolutely amazing.
Awesome video, it’s my first time seeing your channel after searching for reviews on the cloud runner. Your great review made me order a pair. Just subscribed and watching some older uploads 👍🏻
Cloud runner is a stability shoes at least version 1 was. I’m not sure I love on at the moment, we have em at work and I just don’t understand them making a bunch of shoes hoping that one goes off. There no system… like nothing I use to love on ran in the OG Cloudflyer, the on cloud flow 2 which was honestly my favorite on shoe till this day! Was just so soft but stable and responsive
My summary: 1. No free feet 2. “Rock-a-by darling is cute, but we got business to do” 3. Training the next generation of shoe reviewers (your kiddos are really smart!) 4. “Performance breakdown?” - Young Charls 5. “Is Drake completely…?” (Yes) 6. OFFSET 7. 21 21 21 8. Blueberry crumble and lemon pepper miso mushroom pasta (DAMN 🤤) Another banger with the fam 💪
They've kept the stack height the same (according to the running warehouse specs for v1) at 31mm in the heel and 21mm in the forefoot. I didn't run in v1 but this feels pretty soft and comfortable underfoot - although it definitely rides like it has 21 in the forefoot. I'd go for the cloudstratus or cloudmonster 2 you want a similar feel to this but with more cushion in the forefoot
@@supwell thanks! I think it's the relatively high drop tied with the relatively low forefoot stack that I don't get on with. Cloudmonster works well for me so will just stick with that.
i haven't tried the surfer bc i was told by a few ppl it's really similar to the eclipse but lower stack. the eclipse is a lot softer and squisher than the cloudrunner 2 - cloudrunner felt like it had a little more pep and also more groundfeel. also stability should be better in the cloudrunner vs the surfer given the softness and that the runner has the heel clip in the back
Let's not disrespect my soy milk. :) The nutritional profile is actually great, without the downsides of cow's milk. On shoes not for me but I'll keep my eye out for these at the hospital. I have been doing a lot of really slow runs lately though so I've gone back to some of my older, heavier, cushioned shoes like the Nimbus and the More v4. The Superblast geometry is fighting me because I can't compress the foam enough on a slow run. Opportunities for growth: Charli's Corner for shoes for casual wear (Hes Kicks has an entire channel for that), while she works on these recipes for her Vegan Chef Cookbook.
Hahaha I'm team oat milk for sure. And I feel that same struggle with the superblast even though I tend to put more force into the shoe - it's only good at faster paces. I've been thinking about checking out the more v4 if I can find a good deal since the v5 is coming I believe in august
The geometry on the More v4 has a really nice rocker but the Fresh Foam X is totally uninspiring. Super stable but not good for those who are sensitive to sidewalls. Still really curious about the Neo Vista. A couple of early reviews have likened it to a lighter, faster SC Trainer v1.
What size are you? They are going up to 14 in these right now. I'll make sure to keep an eye out for shoes in larger sizes for the big and tall friends
Midnight crew checking in! We need those hats/visors my man.
I’d buy one
@yowana how you feel about bootlegs? I’m tryina slap some hobby jogger logos on my kit

It's not a family channel
It's a family, channel
❤️
Love seeing the family in the videos lately! You’re a machine on the streets but off the streets, super relatable!
Thank you sir 🫡 I appreciate it!
I’m still addicted to the Ultraboost 1.0 for every day/casual but this has my attention.

Sorry to hear about the injuries! But glad the review was helpful and I hope the shoe treats you well! Keep me posted on how it goes

How is the sizing compared to other On shoes like cloudsurfer or cloudmonster 2?
I found sizing length wise was the same and maybe a little wider in the forefoot

Thank you!
Late night crew representing!
my boy said can we still listen to that or is Drake completely... 🤣🤣 yes. he got COOKED
Great review! If you would pick 1 out of the pegasus 41 vs the cloudrunner 2, which would you pick?
Get On with it! 🤠

my guy! love the summary - also gonna steal that name for the pasta
Hello yowana Can You make comparison of Asics superblast Vs on cloudMonster 2 hyper the two shoes are made for speed running thank you
Yes for sure! I need to get some more miles in the hyper soon and then will do that comparison
Do you have a slowed down tutorial on how you tie your laces? I’ve never seen that way and it looks like it helps keep them locked
check out my latest short! i've gotten this question a few times recently so i'll do another video soon on the main page
@@supwell Thank you! Just watched. I think this will be helpful for shoes where the runner's knot can feel too tight against my ankle
late night crew!
I’m looking to retire to Vemero 17, awesome but I can’t find a shoes that’s just as good as that or better. Can I have a recommendation
Tor spring or forefoot rocker? I want a forefoot rocker in this shoe like some other shoes
Is good looking gym / lifestyle shoes 💪👟 #fitness #fashion
I may I missed it, but did it feel light?
I want a pair of On's but can't really find them on sale
did you get them in regular or wide?
we both got the regular widths! they're nice and roomy for me even in the regular width
I found the first version didn't have enough forefoot cushioning for my liking for running. This looks the same stack height do you know?

perhaps one day they will make these in larger sizes for us tall guys.

48:00 😂
Do they get stained easily? I was worried the mesh material would get dirty fast
Yeah if you're worried about stains I wouldn't get this white colorway - they have some other options though
I would buy this shoe if it wasnt for the ugly holes
On shoes = David Goggins because they stay hard. Jokes but not. *excluding surfer and eclipse
You make wonderful videos of shoes, but I'm not gonna watch a first review of 51.38 min.
