Cop must've been really butthurt to keep driving over 100 mph when the motorcycle rider was long gone. Honestly the only way you are gonna catch a motorcycle is if they let you, or they are inexperienced.

This officer needs to be arrested for reckless driving. The chase ended less than 3 minutes in. There is not even a pixel of a bike at all in more than half of this video. Dude was chasing nothing other than his demons going 130 on the shoulder kicking up road debris all over traffic.

I was ready and expecting to take heat from other readers due to how I was going to comment on this video, thankfully I noticed most held the same opinion just before I watched it myself,
This happens way to often when police have such a big ego that they don't use common sense in when to end a pursuit,
I was watching another video where a State Trooper was chasing a Hellcat down the highway at more than 150 mph even though he had lost visibility of the driver in less than a minute into the chase, if a State Trooper loses sight of the vehicle / motorcycle that he is chasing within the very "FIRST MINUTE" of the Pursuit, he should have enough sense to call the chase off, and this is the problem we have with state troopers on our highways, 1st, they are on this ego trip of "HAVING TO GET THEIR MAN" no matter the danger it poses to other drivers, and once they realize they have no chance of accomplishing that, it just becomes the officer having fun pushing the car to the Limit and justifying it by using the "CHASE" as his excuse in doing so. Once the state trooper loses sight of a chase, then "HE BECOMES THE LIABILITY" to all the innocent drivers on the highway, and should be prosecuted for anyone he injures or kills in that chase, which brings up another subject, and that's "QUALIFIED IMMUNITY" as I've said many times, all qualified immunity does is allow corrupt & Tyrant police officers to be corrupt & Tyrant, and at the expense of the taxpayers who have to pay the amount of any lawsuit at the end of the litigation brought against the city.
In some "sensible" States, the police are not allowed to give Chase once they realize the vehicle/ motorcycle has no intentions of stopping.
And I'll take it a step further in saying that all P.I.T. Maneuvers should be banned by law enforcement as well, there has been plenty of times that state troopers and other law enforcement agencies have used this maneuver and it has injured and even killed innocent drivers as a result, there are other ways that law enforcement can get their suspect later on down the road by using other tactics, not very often can a fleeing suspect outrun the radio in these police cruisers, nor the helicopters that can be put in the air !

A decent bike and a decent rider, the only chance a car would have is for the bike to run out of gas or crash. If he not going to stop, let him go. It is not worth it. Patrol cars limited to 130 is no match for a bike that does 130 in second gear.

The police officer had virtually no chance of catching a much faster motorcycle. To keep on pursuing at crazy speeds for long distances puts the public, as well as himself at serious risk. Not smart.

Over about sixty miles per hour, between the noise of the road, and the speeds you’re going, the siren is effectively useless. You don’t hear them until you’re next to them. Precisely why the faster the vehicles, the more festooned the vehicles are with lighting. You can get minutes of warning from lights, mere seconds from sirens.
WRONG. They DID have the siren on. LISTEN. And YES the biker was hurting every driver out there with their reckless speeding & weaving.

My cop buddy use to say if the rider has skills on a sport bike we never catch them. The inexperienced ones either loose their nerve or crash.
He can outrun the trooper, but he can't outrun the radios. They had his plate and I'm sure they were waiting at his house when he got home. So in the end the good guys won.

Wrong, even if they get the plate number, it will not result in any arrest or even a citation unless the owner admits he was the rider, you need to prove who the rider was and the owner has every right to remain silent and not say anything.

Should have cancelled this chase when it started. Patrol Car is no Match for a Sport Bike. ASP needs a Helicopter. Not even a Police Patrol Bike could have caught this Sport Bike with all the equipment the Police have to carry on a Bike.

With a good rider a bike should never loose. I've been behind 1%ers doing 90 in the poring rain. A charger doesn't stand a chance to a bike with a rider that has a NFG attitude.
Actually they tend to catch the 1%ers - - those cruisers are pretty slow. But this guy was wearing racing gear on a sport bike.. all you can do is light him up and see if he is willing to pull over. If not you aren't gonna catch him.

This police officer blew through a stop sign at 50 mph slamed on the brakes to get down to 50 mph by the way abd still was going 50 through it and passed cars on the shoulder at 130 mph. To catch a some one didnt even do anything before he ran this isnt a murder suspect. There peoples family going through that intersection

A motorcyle slamming into a full size car will transfer much less energy than a car vs car accident. Likelyhood of innocent occupants being injured is less, so only life in grave danger is said motorcylist who decided to act stupid and run from the police.

Trp Matthew Foreman did not activate emergency light until reaching speeds of 120+MPH. Plus continuing a futile pursuit endangering many, many motorists on congested highways. A visit to Professional Standards is definitely in order as cops have to obey traffic statutes.
