    Ok Mr Mike!!! Some more features in that price point available.
    1. New or Used AVR
    2. AVRs @ midrange priced offer inputs & outputs ( enables flexibles , external amp or any new input.
    3. EQ control for each Channel.
    4. Built in room correction.
    (AVRs are underrated in the audio world)
    even for 2 channel folks the spec for separation , Crosstalk = more than adequate.( Consider checking them out)

      I have had a few AVR's, usually in the $2000+ range, and have never owned one that sounds as good as a dedicated two channel rig.

      @@michaelwright1602 I will agree that plug & play has an appeal over the countless settings in a AVR and purchased my but with " Pure Direct" mode you all 100% 2 channel of needed maybe I'm a geek!! Got my first Yamaha AVR over 30 years ago. My first job in electronics was electronic music instrument repair the DSP1 was the most sophisticated gear in the mid 80s .
      The specs pass the sound end to end with no coloration all of my 2 channels goes to an external Amp( always has) yes it can be an intimidating setup for some

      My Pioneer VSX-424 cost me a grand total of 133 Euros. Of course that was during the Mad pricing days 9 years ago.

      Agreed, there are better options out there for the price point, which is why I didn't agree with the price.

    No balanced input output. Dac ES9023P? 50w power? It's not meant for audiophiles, and it's not for discos, then who is it for?

    • @mykandrew
      @mykandrew  Před 11 měsíci +1

      It's meant for someone who really wants a small form factor that can accommodate a wide range of inputs.

    I guess you're better off with the new Fosi Audio E10Pro ($210), an Audiophonics TPA-S120 ($220) or the also new AL200 from SMSL ($270), as an amp with digital connectivity. Higher power, most probably better build, internal power supply and certainly better sonics. Ok no phono amp, no streaming, understandably bigger footprint, no sub out (only for the AL200 that is), no BT transmitter and no HDMI (though I can't understand the need/use for one. Just send your TVs audio through optical or coax.). However with an additional streamer from Wiim, you get 80% of features of the H50. If you take this route, the pricier it can get, is with an AL200 which btw is the only one with a headphone amp and a Wiim Pro, for a total of $450. Not bad at all, but then you're tempted towards a proper hifi amp, from Denon, Yamaha, Cambridge, NAD...

      And no DSP. That is the main feature of the arylic amps
