- Hello Everyone!
Thank you for watching our Portable Washing Machine How To video. We tried to put in as much information as we possibly could think of at the time of filming this video, and we hope you find it informative. This video contains information on how to set up a portable washer and dryer, and how we customized each unit to remain stationary and out of the way of the sinks. If you guys have any questions or concerns we will address them either on here through comments the best we can, or by posting another video. One correction I did want to correct is that it does a full 3 cycles with the large load, not 2. This is a 2 part series... So stay tuned!!

I love the set up. Finally a video that has such a clean set up. I like when it’s looks clean and the hoses are nicely tucked in or hidden as much as possible. Buying mines next week
So glad our video series was helpful! Enjoy your day 😊
out of all the videos i been watching you guys are actually the ones that most explain everything. and actually have it set up by a sink. i really like the way you guys attached the water and drain hoes to the top cabinet. i am def going to steal that idea. i cant wait to purchase my set!
Thank you so much! We actually made 3 more videos that are a part of the washer series. If you're not a part of our CZcams Family, then we'd love to have you 😊
Thank you guys! It’s the most useful and understandable video about these items! You helped so much and saved tons of time and effort!
Aww I'm so glad this video was helpful to you! We have 2 other related videos that are helpful too. Check them out 😊
You two look like a really nice couple to me. You keep your place real tidy and neat. I don’t know exactly why I’m watching these portable washing machines video’s. 🤔Just curiosity I think. 😉😄 I live in northern Europe. I myself have a normal washer and dryer which are placed in a dedicated washingspace in my house. I’ve seen several video’s about this item now but you guys had the best and most tidy solutions. By far.
You are so sweet! Thank you for stopping by to encourage, you are appreciated so much. If you're not apart of our CZcams Family yet, we'd truly love to have you ❤🤗
Thank you guys so much for this video I watched both parts and i love how you go into details about each you have. I was looking at portable washers and dryers and couldn't choose. The magic chef was an option and definitely going with magic chef!
Aww I'm so thankful we were able to help! We tried to put literally Everything we could to help others. Let me know if you have any other questions. Have a Blessed day ❤️
Thanks for sharing. That quick release is genius going to order that plus the 3/4 attachments.
Happy we could help! 🤗
I absolutely love your set up. Thank You for this video. I’m down sizing to an apartment and been researching videos on Portable Washer and Dryer but you video by far is the most informative. Thanks...
Thank you Liz, I really appreciate it! Your encouragement means a lot. I actually have 3 more videos pertaining to the portable units, you should check them out. Also, if you're not already a part of our CZcams family, we'd love to have you. I reached out to magic chef, should be making more videos soon. Stay tuned and stay safe 😊
Love how your husband fixed the short hose situation . Good Idea, will do that at my own wascher and the dolly is another great idea.
Keep on posting about your washer and dryer so we all know how good these really are.
Haver a great day, stay safe and god bless.
Thank you! I really loved my units so very much. My only complaint is that I didn't learn about them sooner. I no longer have them now that we moved into a Home and use full size. I do have 3 other videos pertaining to these units though. Stay safe and God bless you too!
I’m going to pick mine up today! I’m so excited!! Magic chef needs to pay you, cause I only bought theirs cause your review was so detailed!! I ended up ordering a longer hose also so I can keep mine stationary like yours. So excited!!! My first washer to myself in 10+ years!!!!
Yayyy!! I'm so Excited for you, seriously! We live in a Home now, so no longer have the units, but my goodness did I really love my units. They were the cutest, most neatest machines. You're going to really enjoy it. Please let me know how it goes.
As for Magic Chef goes, I wish, but they could care less I'm sure unfortunately. That's so sweet of you though 😊
Thank you! This is something helpful! I’m trying to figure out what to buy. You both have help a lot 👍🏼
So glad we were able to help. We have 2 other related videos, that you may find useful as well!
Very good Video, I just purchased a Magic Chef 2.0 Washing Machine and will probably need these instructions, Thanks
Thank you so much for this video. I've been thinking about these for my sons apartment. Your husband had some brilliant ideas with the broom clamps and the quick release for the spigot hose.
Thank you! We truly enjoyed our Magic Chef units while living in the apartment. They were worth every penny 🤗
I love this little set up!! Love the little rack made especially for it too!
Thank you Gorgeous! I left links to everything above in the description 😉
When I looked up the dryer rack that you posted, it was not the same. Then when I looked at the washer/dryer combo with rack link, it has the rack but it isn’t included, nor does it prove a name. Can you help me find it please?
Oh my gosh she is so ADORABLE! lol Good job guys. Great looking family.
Thank you, we appreciate it!
Thank you so much for the video. It was very helpful.
Thank you so much for your informative reviews and all the cited links ^.^
You're so welcome! Really thankful we've been able to provide some help. We have 3 other videos related to the units.
Wow, you guys are so awesome for making such a thorough review. Also, you guys are so resourceful, I love the ideas for solutions.
Thank you so much, we tried our very Best to answer every question we had! We have 3 other videos pertaining to the Magic Chef.
@@RachaelXO Hi, Rachael can you PLEASE tell me if your machine is still working? Im tryin to decide if I should buy the warranty with this machine. How many loads do you, or did you do a month and how long did the machine last?
This was very enjoyable to watch. Its nice to see how you work as a team. Thank you this was very informative.
Thank you so much for your sweet feedback & words of encouragement, it is truly appreciated! 😊
Thank you for this video. It is one of the most informative I've seen on the Magic Chef Washer and Dryer. I also love your set up!
Thank you so very much, that's is very encouraging to hear! This series was our very first CZcams videos, so they weren't our very best, but we put a lot of hard work into making sure all information possible was inserted to the video. Please check out our other 3 related videos. Also, wanted to mention, there's links to everything in the description. Have a Blessed day!
Love your video , I’m debating on getting a set for my little apartment, I live in AZ as well and was definitely worrying about it getting the house warm !
Nylon stocking work great on the dryer opening. Be cautious Fire if too close th wall . I had a great set 1978. The unit still working , on another family in another state. Never had any issues.
Beautiful family, nice job
I have been looking at other setups and I really like this one and I definitely need that 8 foot hose and extender. I am thinking about funneling mind through the under sink supply. I would like to drill a couple holes in the cabinets and feed it through. However, your set up looks easier and I won't be living here much longer so I think I will try yours! Thanks to both of you!
Thank you Noah, yes the extension was a must for us. I have linked the 12 foot hose in the description. At the time there wasn't one available to us, so we improvised with the 2-6ft hoses and it worked out great! Easy, no hassle setup for sure 😊
Yes! Thank you for this video.
You got it! Check out our other 3 related videos too
You seem like a very nice little family. God Bless
That's so sweet, thank you! We'd love for you to be a part of our CZcams Family if you aren't already 😊
I loved your video thank you so much for sharing
You're so welcome! Always happy to help 😊
They work great 👍 I love ‘em 🥰
I'm so happy to hear that my friend!!
Thank you so much for your clear explanations of what you did to make your w/d work better! I recently got the set and am finding that the connection is leaking at the sink / spigot (not sure what that is called) and have ordered the connectors on your list and am so excited to see if they can work. Also, it didn't even occur to me to get a longer hose OR the Avanti stand (sold out on amazon now, tho I did find it on ebay). Like everyone else said, so many fabulous ideas. Thank you!!!!!! I am excited to copy you :)
So happy to help in any way we can! Hope you like the new attachments we used as well. Ours leaked too until we put plenty Teflon tape so the attachments fit perfectly and it corrected the problem. Let us know how it all works out for you 😊
👍 GOOD JOB
Thanks for the video 😊
So glad you enjoyed it! 😊
I love your set up! You answered all the questions I wanted to ask, the only question I do have is, what is the height of the dryer on the stand? Thank you for all the information
Very useful thank you
You're welcome. There's 3 more videos included in this series!
Thanks for the thorough review, looking to purchase the set for my parents. Prices are a lot different now lol
I absolutely loved my portable units, they were a true Blessing for sure! I think your parents will love them! I have other portable Washing machine reviews on my channel as well if you're interested. Merry Christmas 😊
Nice rig!
Thank you!
Great video thx
You got it! Check out our other related videos for additional information! 😊
I’m so happy because I got a set just like yours on offer up for $300
That is so very Exciting! 🤗
Hi Thank you for your video. One thing to keep in mind inside the dryer the lent remover the reason why it came out when you try to pull it out, you have it together the wrong way.
I have the same washer and it holds alot really compared to some we love it with family of 5
I absolutely loved this machine as well! It was a God sent, truly was a Blessing to our Family! This machine started my love for portable units, and why I have reviewed a few of them to share with others in hopes to help them out! Check out these other ones I have reviewed czcams.com/play/PL8UWdvtDhNnClCYFaQENWHnaIv5q0mAPk.html
Great Video! Truly smart set up! Very detailed! I just hava a question on the dryer exhaust fumes. Do you guys hook it to your window to exit the home? From what I know, those fumes are toxic? Or is there some other way or feature I'm missing or understanding, please? Thank you.
I just purchased them thanks for the recommendation!! Also, the link for the sink attatchment is no longer available. Anyway you can add an updated link? I’m having trouble knowing which one to use. My sink is the same as yours. Thanks 😊
You're so welcome! As for the sink, is the link not taking you to the item, or the item is not available right now?
I just ordered a new Panda set from Amazon, unfortunately none were available on offer up or let go and with this CV going around every store is closed or none are available.
I love the drain pipe idea and the nylon lint catching idea! Thank you! I can't wait to wash in my lil apartment lol
Yes, you are going to enjoy it so much, and it'll be worth the expense for sure. Privacy and convenience is priceless. I'm happy for you 😊
@@RachaelXO Omgawwwd girrrrl, where were these all these 4 years of apartment life lol, soooo worth it! Definitely came in handy just in time with this virus going around, no more laundromat for me, yay!
@@cutessavlogs5404 I'm so excited for you! I agree, my only complaint is that I didn't find out about these portable units sooner!
Hi! Loved the video, thanks! Quick question, why did he have to attach two drain hoses? Couldn’t he have used only the long hose?
Thank you! Yes, he could have, but there wasn't one available back when we made these upgrades.
Thank you for the great video. Can you guys tell me which quick release you have and where did you buy it from? I appreciate it. Thanks!
You got it. I have links to everything in the description.
Hi, can u plz tell me the exact model of your magic chef washer and dryer? Thanx I'm convinced 😍
Is there anyway you guys can put the detail on the hose you bought? I just bought a washer and dryer that are the exact same just different brand. Please if you could even just give me an idea I would appreciate it so much! Thank you for your video! It was extremely helpful for my own set up!
Yes, everything we used is in the description box. There are links to everything that you can click on and check out what we used.
Hi Rachel, I notice my machine only sprinkle the clothes while spinning for the rinse cycle, does yours do that?
Hello! I really liked your video. I just bought the washer ... however, I have a question. How did you guys install the drain hoses, because the one that comes with the washer is so narrow that the extension hose I bought didn’t fit, it’s to big... Did you cut off the hose included with the washer and then added the drain hose you put on the description or how you guys did it?? I hope you can answer my comment, It’ll be really helpful for me, I’m stock !
Hello there, so glad we could help! My husband removed the original hoses and then replaced them with the longer ones we purchased.
Wow great video! Answered all questions and concerns I had .....
BTW...where did can I find your laundry basket .... I think I saw wheels on it
I'm so Happy I was able to help! We truly tried our Best to answer every question we personally had when searching for a washer/dryer. There's 4 parts to this series, so check them out, they're all informative.
We got the hamper/basket on Amazon. It's wheels are designed to be able to go down stairs too, which is nice. It was a bit pricey but super with it because it's very well made and sturdy. I'll get use out of it for the next 6-10 years.
Hi - can you put the link for the drain hose that you got from home depot? also, it would be great if you can let us know how to change the drain hose from the super short one that comes with the washer. THANKS A TON!
Watch at the 11:20 mark - SUPER HELPFUL ADVICE!!! I wouldnt have thought to put a legging on the end of the washer drain to serve as a filter. GREAT Advice.
Thank you
You're very welcome. Enjoy your weekend!
_Thanks for sharing, I'm going to watch the second part too!_
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It's a 4 part series. Have a Beautiful evening!
@@RachaelXO thanks, you too!
Great video guys! How loud is it and and does it rattle a lot? Concerned about neighbors.
Thank you! Please check out our "Review " video where we discuss the noise level 😊
I just recently bought these and love them. But how do you disconnect the hose from the sink after it's done to where it doesn't spray water everywhere?
If the water is all the way off then it shouldn't spray more than a slight mist.
Thank you.
Hi! Thanks so much for this SUPER helpful series! We've used our portable Magic Chef washer a few times, and it just started making a very loud noise and shaking like crazy during the last few minutes of the cycle (during spin). Why is this happening and how can we fix it?
One note: we move the machine back and forth from it's holding place and the bathroom (can't roll it because we have carpeting). If the tub inside is not aligned because of the moving back and forth, how can we fix?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I'm so glad the video series has been helpful! So sorry your drum is not aligned from the moving, that's frustrating. For the future, you may want to consider the wheels, it'll be a lil hard to move (like vacuuming a rug) but may be helpful to try. We unfortunately do not know how to fix washers, so you may want to research how to align the tub. Probably fairly easy, I hope.
@@RachaelXO Ok thanks :)
@@michellemiller9881 I wish I knew what to do, I'm sorry. I pray you find a really good video to help you. You can always open the back and look and see if you see it off a bit.
Great tutorial. Where did you purchase the stand for your dryer? Thank You for a well explained video.

Tierra Cowan where did you find it?
Hi Rachel...my wife and I have bought the washer and dryer you have.......can you tell me where you got the white stand that the dryer is sitting on top of? It looks like it's just right heightwise for the washer to fit underneath with the lid up.
Hello there, hope you all are enjoying your new portable units! Yes, I have left the link in the description of the video, which is below the title. To access description on your phone, just click the title and it'll drop down the description to view. The stand can be adjusted to fit as needed.
New friend joined here ...
Hello there New Friend, Welcome, we're very Happy to have you be apart of our CZcams Family! 😊
I used mine today and the only thing I would add to this is to make sure to hook the hose to the “cold” water port on the washer and set the temp to “cold” when you wash, if you are using a sink that only has one faucet for both hot and cold. It took me forever to figure out why it wasn’t working for the rinse cycle 😂
Yeah I mentioned you can control the temp yourself with the faucets. I'm glad you figured it out though!
wow this was VERY helpful! Thank you! Thanks for the tip about the nylon over the tube! I will be doing everything you guys did in this video. With Covid happening I do not want to go to the laundromat so I ordered a portable washer and dryer for my apartment. My sink and cabinets are set up just like yours. Our kitchen looks identical except there is a window at the opposite end from where the dryer was. So the dryer doesn't make your apartment hot or humid? Thats what I was worried about and thinking about getting a 20 foot vent tube to run under my cabinet to go out the window. I dont know how this would look and if it would be ideal but I didnt want it to get hot, humid or dusty in my house.
I am getting the same dryer you have. I live in California so I didn't know what to do. So you don't vent the dryer outside or into an indoor vent at all?
You're welcome! Check out our other 3 videos pertaining to the units, you'll find them very helpful. We didn't use a vent and it really didn't make much of a difference, heat wise, in the apartment. Try it out and you can always get a vent kit if you'd like. I've provided links in description
Thanks for your most informative video. To drain water out of the machine I find the drain to be way way too short. I bought and connected another drain using clamps and the connection looks pretty good. However, the drain has to be 36 inches high for it to work, as per instructions? So in your case, where the drain is attached to the machine, do you lie it flat on the ground and then did you re-route it higher at 36" at least, under the cupboards? It seems to work in your case. My drain did not work today, the way I had it. To be more clear, Is your drain lying on the ground at the point where it attaches to the machine, but when it gets to the sink, it is about 36 inches high, am I correct? Please confirm this. Thank you.
The drain connected at the bottom and we just lifted the hose up into the sink. You can get another good view from our Review video
@@RachaelXO Thanks so much Rachael. Today, I looked at your video again and connected the same way, lying it on the floor and then raising it to the sink. It worked amazingly for a while. As I was celebrating, the connection which I had done with 2 clamps came off, and my kitchen flooded, whew! What a mess!. Thank God I have solid tiles, and also it was a small load, so it wasn't very bad, could have been worse. Now I am working on trying to do a better connection like you guys did. I am so afraid to do the connections again. I guess I could get a plumber to connect a longer drain right at where the manufacturer has connected it originally under the machine. I am afraid to mess up the manufacturer's original connection, even if a plumber does it. I would have to get a handyman and that is scary, plumber would be way too expensive. I will check out the material which you used to connect. Thanks again, I love your video.
@@tinam6205 What a drag, sorry it leaked on you, it's happened to us too when our hose wasn't connected right. It's a fairly easy fix honestly, for someone that knows how to fix things, like for my husband or a handyman in your case. If you were to want a longer hose, the original is unclamped, and the new one clamped in.
Where did you get the quick-release hardware? Does it come with the machine? (my machine hasn't arrived yet)
I'm pretty positive we cover as to where we got the quick connect from in this video, because it's been a while now so I don't remember. We got the units off of someone on OfferUp, and I think I recall them saying it comes with a quick connect, but they couldn't find it upon selling it to us.
The attachments of the drain hose that your husband did, what kind is it because mines is exactly like your and your right it is to short and the water supply hose, I got mine online from home depot
Yes, it is a bit short. I actuality have links provided in the description for the hose
Did you connect anything special to the dryer like a lint trap kit? If so which one did you use? I bought an manual mini washer and I hate it! So much work and it was $150 I should have just bought the automatic washer. Thanks for the great video.
Hey, thank you! Check out our "Review" video as to where I explain what we decided to do. Everything you see in the video, plus more, have links in the description area. It's too much work to do it manually, you would look forward to doing your laundry with this machine, I did.
Rachael XO I think I’m just traumatized from the manual portable washer that I want to do as much research as I can. I saw your review video and I like the socks or nylon idea. Did your house get hot in the summer time while using the dryer?
when you connect to a single faucet, how do you control temperature of wash?
Turn up the hot side. Check out our,"How To" video as well.
How many wash and rinse cycle in the automatic setting?
What rack do you have the dryer on.
Thank you for this video, it’s extremely helpful! Like some others, I’m struggling with the length of the drain hose. I’m planning on attaching two hoses together, as you have done, and I found the link to the product you used (thank you). However, your husband mentioned that he had a lot of trouble with leaks and had to use silicone. Can he or you elaborate in exactly what he did? You’re talking to someone with zero experience with this kind of thing :)
Hello there, so glad we were able to help! My husband said he used a 3/4 copper fitting, and put silicone all around the outside of the fitting before attaching the two hoses together. Then clamped them together. After he did this we didn't ever have a leak again.
Rachael XO - Thank you so much for your quick reply! I’m a total noob... is copper fitting the same thing as copper coupling? When I search online for copper fitting, it gives me pictures of what look like adapters. There is a copper “coupling” that looks like a small pipe, which is what I imagined you were talking about. Is that right? Thanks again for your help!
@@ryanw8664 I just asked my husband, Jesse, he said it's a coupling he uses. He also said he thinks he used one that was half inch to an inch long. Long enough to covet both hoses. It was 3 years ago so he doesn't remember the length of it, but one of the two sizes, so better to be safe and do an inch. The diameter is 3/4 though.
Rachael XO - That’s perfect, thank you!
@@ryanw8664 You're very welcome, we're happy to help! 😊
Hi! Since I can connect it like a normal washer can I also drain it like one? I don’t want to use the sink or a bucket to drain so I was wondering if it could drain through a connection on the wall.
Hi Liz! Put the hose where the regular one would be. I'd still put like some nylons over the hose to act as a catcher, because tons of lint comes out of it each time you use it.
Rachael XO That helps me out so much. Thank you!
@@Lizbornin89 I'm so glad!
Hi. My adaptor continues to come detached from faucet while washing. Any suggestions?
Hello. That was happening to us in the beginning till we found the right one for our sink. I left links in the description to what we used. Not all sinks are exactly the same so you may have to buy a couple before figuring it out.
How much does it cost for both and model number? Please and thank you.
Thanks for this great review! What model is your machine? Is it the 3cu capacity or smaller?
Glad you enjoyed it. I actually listed everything down in the description for everyone. It's a 1.6
@@RachaelXO Hi Rachel, do you have to use powdered detergent I prefer liquid also I still haven't decided yet depending on detergent trying to decide between magic chef or rca washer
@@Nurpleful We used liquid. I have 3 other videos
@@RachaelXO yes your videos are helping me make my decision . They no longer sell your model dont how the other models may work . Also the dryer how does the air vent I like regular dryer?
@@Nurpleful Yeah they're out of stock on this model, but honestly I trust them as a company that has been around for a very long time. If I would have had the space, I would have probably gone with a bigger one, because I have a family so more clothes. The dryer vent, I described what we did about the vent situation. I do have 3 vent choices for you to choose from in the links though
Will the washer fit a queen size comforter?
Hello there! I wouldn't recommend stuffing the washer at all with a comforter. Sheets you could for sure though. Check out my review video where I talk about what fits by demonstrating
What abt the dryer vent system??
Hi sweetheart I was watching your video with the washing machine and dryer and I would like to know if you don’t mind how big is the rat the Rack And where do you get it
Hello there, thank you for watching our video. Here's the link to the dryer stand 😊

Ingenious husband!
Please we’re did you get the stand your using for your washer and dryer?

Do you have any issues with the drain hose going upwards ? Is there pressure to push it up and out ? I was worried I had to keep mine elevated so the drain water goes all the way out
I'm not sure I fully understand your question, I apologize. You do need the dain hose elevated though, just as you see ours. Otherwise the water will continually leak out and the washer won't hold any water.
Rachael XO sorry I wasn’t more clear, the drain hose, the water coming out of the washer. Because you have your hose going upward, does the water coming out have enough momentum to move it upward into your sink ? I want to set mine up like that but worried the water won’t push through and run back to the machine
@@jon3787 Yes, it has enough momentum. In fact, it has to be elevated that way, otherwise if it were to be left on the ground to drain out it wouldn't ever fill up the tub to wash, and would solely drain.
Do You need to have the dryer next to a window to ventilate outside? Most videos I’ve seen have the dryer thing go out a window? Otherwise great review!
You most certainly can, if you choose to do it that way. I also linked in description vent kits to dry where you'd like 😊
does this model if it's not level my floor is not level it's an old house throw a code everything I move it and use it if I can't level it will it not work ?
I don't believe it would cause an issue. We lived in an old apartment building before and I doubt it was that level. You can adjust the legs to level it as much as possible.
I know you mentioned about your neighbor downstairs not complaining but question what’s your landlord OK with that for a set up like that??? by the way it looks great 👍 I want to get one but I’m scared that I’m going to get in trouble 💐
Aww thank you! I absolutely loved our lil set up, and will Forever rave about it. It was such a lifesaver, and made me Happy. We are no longer in the apartment, but to answer your question, I honestly didn't ask for permission. She wasn't really the easiest to get along with so I didn't even care to go there. I read somewhere online that unless there's something stated in the lease agreement saying you can't have it, then it's fine. Maintenance guy said as long as it doesn't leak then it's fine, cuz he wasn't going to say anything lol.
Rachael XO lol does maintenance guys 🙈 I was searching in my lease it doesn’t mention anything but thank you so much I truly appreciate you answering my question 💐
@@GracielaMorales-bo3dy You got it! If it doesn't say you can't, then just get one, if that's what you want to do. They're truly an Awesome investment! 🤗
where did you get the stacking shelf from?
They are linked in description
Where do you got the one that connects on the faucet?
I believe it comes with it. If not, I am pretty positive we mentioned it in the video, I don't remember. There's links down in description as well.
Theres a little blue plastic thing in the cold inlet on the machine, and a red thing in the hot one.do i take them out?
If using a sink you only need to connect one. We connected the cold side connection and monitored the temp from sink.
Can you wash and dry a queen size comforter?
If it's a thin one
Where did u buy the plastic rack to stack the washer n dryer

Is the quick release something you can get from a hardware store? Thanks!
Yes, you should be able to for sure! If not, I provided a link to Amazon.
@@RachaelXO Thank You!
@@melissalovins8117 You're very welcome. Take care!
Can you wash and dry a queen comforter?
No, queen sheets.
Hola chica podrías explicar cómo es que hicieron la base de ambas por favor 🙏 gracias pero en español gracias esque se ve muy bonito
The washer stand and roller base is linked in the description. I also explain in my video about them. Thank you
Can the drain hose that came with the machine be removed and replaced? Mine seemed to leak today and I can't find a replacement part. I also don't see how to remove the one that came with it in order to replace it with a new one. Thanks for any info!
It most certainly can. We actually explain in this video as to how and what we did.
@@RachaelXO Thanks so much. I actually don't think it was the hose that leaked now that I looked at it closer. I think that I have never opened that outside lint filter before and when I did today, found there was a lot of water there. That could be what happened. That being said, my landlord/brother-in-law, thinks the drain hose is flimsy and wants it replaced anyway. Hopefully, he will figure it out for me.
@@RachaelXO I meant to add that I have a different model washer. It is the small one and I cannot see how to remove the hose from the back of the washer. It seems like it is permanently attached.
@@cindyleach8319 I'm not too sure, I haven't used the smaller model. I would think it could be done somehow, but I could be wrong. I would at least try to reach out to Magic Chef customer service, and also call a couple handyman services and ask them if they have any experience with these units. Please let us know what happens. Praying it's repairable
Where can i find the adaptor for the holes to the sink?
I'm not too sure which part you're talking about, I'm sorry. Everything I have in the videos in the series have links in the description. This way it makes it easier to see first hand what we have.
What kind of stand is your dryer set atop on?? Thanks
Alayshia Williams avanti stand for the dryer I believe
They also have them at Walmart for around 50.00
Where did you get the stand? I have that Magic Chef dryer, and would love the same set up.
You can find one online. I put a link in the description.
Pickup a Dryer Indoor Ventilation Kit from amazon. You need to use one.
Yes, we had purchased one and got it the day after this video posted, but it was too bulky in the back for our set up. We're currently exploring other options. Thank you for your recommendation.
Rachael XO what did you end up using? I just bought the dryer, and I saw vents in the “customers also bought”, but I wasn’t sure if they were necessary
I called Magic Chef who said the dryer must have a vent.
How much clothes compared to a normal washer at the laundromat does it fit?
Check out our "Review" video, you'll find it quite helpful in answering your question.
Can I hook the washer hose up to a bathroom sink? I dont have room in the kitchen for it
Oh yes, most definitely. Wherever is easiest for you. You just need a sink that'll allow you to attach a quick release
Rachael XO thank you this was super helpful
@@mochinova4843 I'm so glad! There's 3 more videos as well

Does all the water drain out wvwn tho it's not lower than the base? Like does it go against gravity? I just ordered one and I didnt think this all the way through 😭😂
@@brittnaybradshaw1678 No worries, I got you girl! Lol It has to be up like that or else the washer won't ever fill up, and will instead be continually draining. I'm excited for you, you're going to Love your new units! I have 3 other videos, and also everything linked in the description. 🤗
It's been a year. How are they operating now? Did they ever get noisy? Any issues?
@@kimberleful We no longer needed them, because we moved into a home, and have full size now. I can't even begin to express, how thankful I was for my units, and they were totally worth the investment. Someone else is enjoying them now.
Did you have the washer just plugged into a regular outlet? Or did you have to check to make sure that it would be able to accommodate the magic jet washer without blowing a fuse.
