Masha Allah, thank you for the informative video, however, It is good to know. First, The Muharram was the first day of the year in Jaaheliat time before Islam, so, that was the opposite of the prophet's order which was Rabi ul Awal. Second, Muslims are not happy with Muharram because of the assassination of the Prophet's nephew (Hossain) in Muharram for making celebration, although some Muslims are just happy with Kholafa and money and do not care about Rights/Haggh and Mohammad's descendent (صلی الله علیه و آله و سلم) honestly.

Fasting the day of Ashura is called by our Imams as (The Fast of Ibn Marjana) according to the narrations. Ibn Marjana was the commander of the army of Yazeed who killed Imam Husain (AS).
It is Makrouh (Disliked) to fast that day. Ibn Marjana and his people wanted to celebrate the day of Ashura to make Muslims forget their crime, that it why they paid lot of money to false narrators to fabricate narrations encouraging people to fast and celebrate that day. We have evidence that narrations encouraging fasting on the day of Ashura are fabricated by enemies of Ahlul Bayt (AS).
The recommended on the day of Ashura is to remember the tragedy of Karbala and weep and cry on it and refrain from eating and drinking till after noon. This is called Faqa.

Are you for real???Holy Prophet (SAW) didn't know about the 7th Day of Passover (date of the crossing of the sea as mentioned in the Old Testament - Book of Leviticus)??? He had to learn from the Jews of Madinah??? He had to prove himself to the Jews???
Also so how many other so called 'Great or Good' events coincided on this tragic day (as mentioned in the Sahih Sitta) when the flesh and blood of the Holy Prophet (SWS) was ripped apart, butchered and slaughtered, his daughters were imprisoned, tortured and dishonoured. You want us to celebrate these 'Great and Good' events on the day the Holy Prophets loved ones were murdered??? When in reality, these myths (false events) were recorded by the enemies of the Holy Prophet (sws) in order to hide and gloss over the tragedy of Karbala from feeble minded people. Is it really surprising the cursed murderers who fought the Holy Prophet in the battles of Badr, Uhud..... and against Ali, Hasan and Hussain in Jamal and Siffin eventually fought and murdered Hussain and the offspring of Muhammad (sawas). They are the deceived and cursed followers of Iblees. They think they finally finished the job against the Holy Prophet in their futile attempt to destroy or at the very least distort the Message.
Its is not surprising at all, they party and celebrate the day of Ashura but they use this event to attack and ridicule the followers of Ahlul Bayt in order to continue the deception by highlighting cultural practices of certain fringe groups. They avoid mentioning the principles upon which Hussain made his stand and do not care of the teachings from Kerbala, instead they use it as a platform for more deception. What injustice against the Holy Prophet (sws) when Allah ta’ala commanded unconditional love for his near relatives; did they forget:
O Prophet, say, "I do not ask you for a reward for this [message] except for unconditional love to my near relatives." (42:23)
Instead they justify allegiance and devotion to the enemies of the Holy Prophet and his purified family.
The Ahlulbayt are the purest of the pure and Allah (swt) prevented ALL impurity from them. Allahs (swt) singled them out from other pure ones from the Qur’an by making them the purest of the pure (arabic thathiraqum thathira):
Allah only intends to keep ˹the causes of˺ evil away from you and make you the purest of the pure completely, O members of the ˹Prophet’s˺ family! (33:33)
They, the likes of Abu Sufian, Mauwiyya, Amr bin Aas, Omar bin Saad.... have had many followers and disciples through the ages and even to this day. They have deceived many but this is only temporary because truth always prevails against falsehood. Take note of Allah ta'alas reassurance to the Holy Prophet (sws) and don't be among those who scheme against Allah for you will curse yourselves and be losers in this world and in the hereafter.

Allah ta’ala tells the Holy Prophet what they did in the past and says they are still planning against Him but He is the best of planners:
And [remember, O Muḥammad], when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you . But they plan, and Allāh plans. And Allāh is the best of planners. [Anfal:30, Qur'an 8:30]

      Sahih al-Bukhari 3397
      Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
When the Prophet (ﷺ) came to Medina, he found (the Jews) fasting on the day of 'Ashura' (i.e. 10th of Muharram). They used to say: "This is a great day on which Allah saved Moses and drowned the folk of Pharaoh. Moses observed the fast on this day, as a sign of gratitude to Allah." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I am closer to Moses than they." So, he observed the fast (on that day) and ordered the Muslims to fast on it.
      Sahih al-Bukhari 3942
      Narrated Abu Musa:
When the Prophet (ﷺ) arrived at Medina, he noticed that some people among the Jews used to respect Ashura' (i.e. 10th of Muharram) and fast on it. The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, "We have more right to observe fast on this day." and ordered that fasting should be observed on it.

Salaam bro Dr.Zakir Naik... Whether Prophet Mohammad (SAS) will make or say which Allah has not said in quran... this will contradict the ayath 66:1.... you are a scholar.. why you give only hadith references.. In anywhere in quran it is mentioned that we have to fast in Muharam.. pls refer that ayath... or you should also aware that what Allah says in 3:78 and 16:116 says.. You also know that you should stand in front of Allah for this false information...
