Ahyeon was supposed to debut with the others but she went on hiatus due to health issues. Now she is back bcs she is no longer on hiatus 😊❤
They didn’t actually come from a reality survival show. YG just decided to make a show about the final phase of their training. There was no public voting or anything like that. The process was the same as for all YG groups, but they just decided to show a lot of it to generate attention for the group. This is the most talented group out there right now in my opinion.

I've seen every minute of every video on Babymonster, Blackkpink and 2NE1. The Last Evaluation was not a survival show. Survival shows like Produce 101 rely on votes from the viewers to decide the final lineup. That is nothing like the Last Evaluation. YG is just really good at getting people excited about groups before they debut. They filmed a lot of Blackpink trainees as well, but never made a series out of it. Babymons7er was the first time they did that for a YG girlgroup. So it is technically a reality 'show' but not in the traditional sense. They went through the training every day no different than Blackpink did. We just got to see a lot more it with Babymons7er.
The Last Evaluation series was filmed in Spring 2022 and shown to the public in Spring 2023.
In the past and on several occasions, Papa YG has been known to publicly tell trainees that the group they are training for will only have X amount of members, but in the end, Papa YG will keep all the trainees for the group.
All seven members of Babymonster were seen with a YG manager crew at the Blackpink concert in October 2022 and the Treasure concert November 2022. In addition, at the Treasure concert several members of Treasure were overheard congratulating all seven members of Babymonster for making it to debut.
YG trainees are not assigned to managers and are managed by a dedicated trainee staff that only works with trainees.
All these factoids lead to the conclusion, before the official member announcement was released, that The Last Evaluation series was shown as a means to create a fandom by letting the public get to know the members before debut and to increase the hype for the upcoming group.

I think you should watch their live performances, introduction video and last episodes 1-8 coz they're all talented girls,full of versatility, that's why they called BABYMONSTER,offcam their babies but on stage they are a real monsters

Ahyeon didn't able to debut with Batter Up and Stuck in the middle due to health issues.. But YG need to push thru the debut so they decided to debut with 6 members and YG said that Ahyeon will come back once she recovered.. but after Batter up and SITM they didn't have any promotions.. Then later on YG announced that Ahyeon recovered fast and will be joining their first mini album and also their official debut as 7 members now with a lot of promotions and attending korean music shows.

Ruka has such a distinct face, it's easy to remember her. The moment she was introduced, my eyes glued to her up until now, not only because of her face but her tone and musicality in rapping and her dancing ability. She's my bias.

After blackpink, Yg debuted boy group called Treasure. Their leader Hyunsuk wrote the rap parts and co-produced both songs.
I remember like this:
The Rappers, Ruka and Asa are from Japan.
Then you have Chiquita(light blonde hair) and Pharita, and they're form Thailand
then Rami(Carmel color hair), Rora, and Ahyeon are Korean.
And yes, they were on a reality show competition because it was supposed to be 5 member group originally but YG decided to make them a 7 member group.
Some of the clips in DREAM is from their first audition to monthly evaluations to what we saw in the LAST EVALUATION. The LAST EVALUATION was not really a survival show ins the sense that we know them to be but the journey to debut and how YG actually sleelcts members to debut in a group. So some clips were from around 2018 - 2022. Rami is her stage name and her real name is is Shin Haram. So for pre-debut we know her as Haram. Iwould think that it is pronounced closer to Asian so Rah•mee.
For BATTER UP and STUCK IN THE MIDDLE, Ahyeon wasn't able to join the members with the debut because of health reasons. She wasn't able to join until the SHEESH M/V. Then they re-recorded both BATTER UP and STUCK IN THE MIDDLE with Ahyeon for the mini-album.
They have introduction videos for each of the members to get an idea of each member. They don't go into their background but they do talk about their journey.

Yes AHYEON was not able to debut with the group at the initial debut..due to health issues..but debuted in SHEESH..AS THE MINI ALBUM WAS RELEASED..& THIS ALBUM WAS RERECORDED INCLUDING ALL 7 MEMBERS.

Nah, they are formed like Blackpink. They auditioned to be part of YG pool of trainees. They trained for years since they were 10-11-12 years olds. The clips shown here were when YG picked the top7 among their trainees to be a part of Baby Monster Final Evaluation Series where YG was supposed to choose the "FIVE" trainees to debut as Baemon.

So I’m sure people are telling you this already but just in case. They were formed in a “survival show” but it’s not really a survival show since no one gets eliminated. It just shows their last evaluations. It is called The last evaluation. However I would recommend reacting to each of their introductions first which are in their channel. They a short indoduction for the last evaluation. Also the first thing that they released are individual videos of each members showing their talents which is before the intro or the last evaluation. If that makes sense.

Ahyeon was sick. Dream was OT7. Batter Up OT6 had to lauch in November 2023 after a month's delay. Batter Up is used by Pepsi Thailand and Pepsi Vietnam in their January 2024 nationwide campaign.
