Hey guys, this is my experience of flight JL407 from Tokyo Narita to Frankfurt in the Boeing 787-9 JAL business class. This was my first time flying long-haul with JAL in their Sky Suite business class and I am really impressed with the experience I had.

after any business class seat with doors this is the next best business class seat JAL, Korean air oman air and I think gulf air uses these seats. Very nice and comfortable. Flew Korean air from ICN to LAX on this seat last April.
I can’t agree more! The 2-2-2 staggered configuration works surpassingly well - especially with the privacy of the window seats
I am a "moderate" flyer. Boeing products vs Airbus - Boeing does not think ergonomics through, in such as what you describe. I sense their thoughts on passenger comfort come second to profit on production. You see it in the 737 model. The noise level on a Boeing product is almost deafening. An Airbus product is many times quieter. Just watched a 737-900ER San Francisco to Hawaii with no IE and the wi-fi crashed, 5.5 hrs.
Interesting thought, Mike. I have never looked at it by aircraft manufacturer - definitely something I will keep a close eye on for future reviews
