  • An automatic shut-off valve controls the water entering your reverse osmosis system. It shuts off the incoming water supply to the RO unit when the storage tank reaches around 2/3 of the tank’s capacity and turns the water back on when the tank’s pressure drops. A faulty automatic shut off valve could cause constant wastewater to drain. This video will show you how to replace the valve in a standard reverse osmosis water system. Please give this video a thumb up if you think it's helpful. If you have any questions about the product or replacement, feel free to contact us at 678-261-7611 (M-F, 9-5 EST). We are always happy to help!

How do we know the air has purged out for step 7? After step 6 I turned the supply water on and water is not coming out the drinking faucet

Hi there. When you start getting a continuous water flow, it means the air has purged out. If after some time the water is not coming out, please double check that everything is properly installed or kindly contact us at support@123filter.com, at (678) 261-7611 M-F 8:30-5:30 EST or at (470) 560-0012 M-F 8:30-5:30 EST (Messaging only) to properly guide you.

It would have been helpful to actually see the valve being replaced. All this video does is explain what it is and what the tubes are for.
