Only 850 made! Genuine Classic as designated by the Classic Car Club of America. We acquired it from the estate of a meticulous collector that has been a customer of ours for many years. He had it restored to look new about 20 years ago, it still looks new! Very luxurious car then and now.
EXTERIOR: Very dramatic design, especially for 1941. This car was restored 20 years ago to better than new condition and it still holds up really well today. The body appears to be excellent, it is absolutely straight. There is no rust or damage. Everything fits really well, the paint is polished to a smooth glass finish. I'm looking at the reflection of the door and it looks a mile deep. There are some minor imperfections in the paint but nothing that detracts from the appearance. It has very unique push button door openers. This car started the term "continental kit". The tire in back became a popular custom add on to other cars. The chrome was all restored. It has optional bumper gaurds. There is Lincoln script on the hubcaps, the trim rings match the trim along the bottom of the car. It has reproduction white wall tires. It vent windows that open front and back. The stainless window frames have seams, polished smooth. It has optional fog lamps.

The front end, the grill and hood are stylized as a ship's prow slicing through the water. Edsel loved to go yachting, much to Henry's consternation.

Roll the widow's up. All cars make wind noise. People that drove/drive this LUXURY car wound never drive with the windows down. I have been a S-Class driver owner for many years, none of us drive with the windows down, That is something usually reserved for '97 Camry's with broken down A/C.

I have no idea how Ford went from a beautiful body with the Ford Zephyr to the Ford Continental, I dont know what it was with the big arse boot on the Conti that Ford thought was a nice design.
