I actually love the soundtrack to this game. And yes, I play it in my car quite frequently. The Clock Tower song is an amazing composition. My personal favorite.

Goldenboy Neo and Yipes are such an amazing duo. The game knowledge, the jokes, the absolute deliriousness by the end, this is what it's all about. Kudos to those two for all their hard work.

Can't stand and never have been able to stand Yipes tryhard cringe commentary. Even after all these years it irritates me hearing him. If he commentated normally maybe but he is so damn extra like a kid trying to act cool among the teens its cringy as hell. Throwing in accents, and spanish and all is just embarrassing dude the jokes aren't funny. This is from a Latino myself, just don't throw in spanish just cuz you know some...it doesn't season your jokes to make them any better...
@@Fate862 I think that's fair. I don't mind it because, like I said, he has a lot of in depth knowledge about a lot of games. I think there are far worse commentators who do the things you mentioned you don't like than Yipes who don't have the same knowledge of the games he does.

After the pandemic came out and get us lockdown this is a good exercise to prove that MVC2 still alive.
Swamp stage is my favourite, “swing your body.”
My favourite teams to play for fun are Silver Samurai, Iceman, and Psylocke, or Venom, Wolverine (Adamantium), Psylocke. I enjoy playing Magneto, but he is too extreme with the execution. And I just rather have only 1 high/top tier in my team. I would get bored playing MSP, etc. Just felt like sharing.
Over 20 years later and MvC2 is still an extraordinary PvP fighter.

Thrillah's a PoS online. He complains of lag, T-bags, taunts, trash talks. He's nowhere near what you'd call a "humble" person. Quite the opposite, if you manage to beat him a couple of times. He's a sore loser in my book.

I still can't believe that DBFighterZ was the MvC game we needed. They literally took the whole formula. If they just came back for a redo and reinvent the game like MK did in 2011 and just call it "MARVEL Vs CAPCOM"
Respectfully, no. No it was not. Assists are generally wack, supers uncreative, no tri-jump, super dash is scrubby incarnate, neutral is stiff as fuck and exacerbated by not being able to fluidly wavedash and backdash, autocombo is a dumb mechanic, matches drag on and on, not enough potential to mix people up, zoning isn't viable, character models are overhyped aesthetically, universal overheads are dumb in a team game, combo potential isn't as open as it would seem, a lot of characters have dumb stubby normals, defensive options are too strong, the characters mostly don't have a strong sense of identity, and more. I grinded it for two years. Game isn't bad, but just whatever. They have no business touching or modeling an MVC game after that.

I was picturing a MvC game with those graphics, the intro b4 the fight, the 2.5D character models with the 3D background, 3v3 with the assist system that's vaguely similar, etc. If ArcSystems would've chose to do a MvC game instead of a DBZ game, it would be a totally different game, it would've been waaaayyy better than that MvC: Infinite bull$4@t. Let's be honest, they literally modeled off MvC2 - If MvC2 didn't exist, DBFighterZ would've never existed, that's all I'm saying...but yeah my friend just imagine tho if it was MvC that was announced by their team of developers. Yeah of course it would've had it's issues like MvC2 have, but at least it would've been dope to see. I could only imagine their ver. of Cyclops Mega Optic Blast, Ryu's Hadoken Super, would've been cool to see their ver. of Dhalsim, Wolverine, Megaman, etc. To me whenever I play or see someone play DBFigherZ, I always have that "what if" thought, always.

Sadly this isn't a good representation of high level mvc2 play. Lot of amateur hour here. Toan was the best here but you can tell his age and not playing like he used to got to him basically like every other pro from back in the days. Tons of dropped combos, infinites everything all around. If everyone who played here today played this way back in 2003 or 2004 they wouldn't even make it out of their pools.
I’m a casual, but even I know that Damn Iron man has the priority more than half of the time , but yet top players like Serbot still want to challenge that at the beginning of the round,,, I would ask why.. and i’ll get all kinds of situations, but at the end of the day Iron Man wins those first hits I would say at least 70% of the time .

Mvci is the closest thing.Disney screwed up and a re release won't happen due to the rights to some marvel characters that roster we got for mvci was mcu vs capcom and the xmen characters take up most of the marvel side for mvc2 so we'll probably have to wait till the mcu bring in the xmen god knows when to at least get that mvc4 update they talked about years ago

I have a friend and he is really good too, like we have played online against Mvc2 Roundhouse and he can beat him no sweat. Although he never want to join any tourney, but he's that good. I have seen much more advance players online, and my friend is one of those dude.
