I think they did a pretty solid job. I'm trying to find time to do a few scripted videos explaining why, because I've been seeing some hateful takes I frankly think are pretty far off base.
@@reverseBLT I find some people like to just be negative for the sake of being negative. Especially with adaptations. It's a weird trend especially for people who call themselves "fans" but it happened with LOTR, GOT, Marvel, Harry Potter etc
I think people get the end states of characters stuck in their heads and get upset when characters don't start their adaptation arcs as the exact same people. A lot of undeserved hate I saw aimed at this and WoT, off the top of my head, were of that variety. Things feel like unacceptable changes because they're only remembering where the characters ended up. Then you have the "ermahgerd teh woke" idiots.
this may sound like kind of a weird comparsions but i think of azula as the anti matilda like the novel because their both very smarter for their age very studious and stratigests but one of the main diffrences is that matilda is a nice person who does not think she is better than everybody else she just likes to learn things despite her sad circumstances what do you think acurate comparison or no if you have read the novel or watched the movie of course
I haven't read Matilda in a very long time. Never saw the movie, so I won't speak to the comparison. I will say that Azula is a good example of how a prodigy can be twisted by the wrong kind of attention and praise, and also of how narcissism tends to develop from insecurity.
The twists of luck for main characters - Sokka and Katara are DEFINITELY ta'veren XD
The Avatar is the Dragon confirmed. 😄
I love this series. Its one of my fav adaptations overall.
