Genuinely, I think every spotter and every spotter save is amazing, even if it's a normal slip and the spotter saves you, they've already saved someone from possible injuries, permanent scars and even more😭

@@9justgamingno, even if she was prepared she could have gotten both arms broken, hitting the ground at that velocity. He slowed her fall and prevented her from taking heavy impact.

How crucial it is to have top-notch spotters who have lightening fast reflexes to be able to react, lunge, lurch. catch, and save these flying bodies. What an important, stressful, difficult responsibility they have. And how rewarding to know you are preventing harm in such an immediate and tangible way. Bravo to Everyone !!!!!! 🤗👌👍👏💪🙏💓

Thay don't , but it's better to spot when you didn't need to than it is to not spot when you needed to. ( spotting is the term used for breaking their fall , normally with those pillows)
The coaches usually has been doing this for years ( my coach was a former gymnast) and 9 times out of 10 they will know if they need to spot you. Also spotting means catching you, throwing a mat (not PILLOW) in, or jus helping you in somthing
Spotters observe for certain mistakes in movements, body posture, etc. And if seen, they get ready to take action. (Ik someone who is a spotter btw thats how I know)

the way the last guy perfectly uses his own weight and momentum to take the energy and momentum off of the girl. it’s so hard to explain but you can see how his specific movements soften the falls
That last one was so impressive and fast I had to screen record to watch it frame by frame. The spotter almost crushes her and kicks off the mat, doing a flip to prevent crushing, and she kinda pushes them up to help propel them. When they land they both adjust their weight so they don’t crush each other. So cool!!
