Netdecking is important to the game. It gives a great base starting point if you want to learn a new deck, lets you see what playing around with numbers will do, and it answers itself with most experienced players knowing how to handle the base decklist, so there really should be no reason to complain about it.
All decks I've "netdecked" I've slowly changed over time to become my own deck. It really is just a base to get started with a new deck you're learning, then you evolve it from there. Heck, sometimes I'll take inspiration from different decks. I'll see one thing that one deck is doing that I like, and one that another is doing that I like, then combine parts of each.
For me at least, who started playing Yu-Gi-Oh maybe a bit over a year ago now? It has *not* been the death of originality or anything, in fact the opposite. Because of netdecks I've built up an understanding for what works for different decks and play styles, what types of ratios can be good, then I can bring that with me to my own decks. I would never have built a skill of deck building up as much as I have if I didn't have all these reference points to start from.
I know now what I must do. I must make Farfa's espionage nightmare a reality.
I will create Red-Eyes Dark Zigzagoon.

I love how under the last one people commented like "Whatever Farfa laughs at is the meta" and "Master Duel memes were better before Farfa started reviewing them". This week we had just one pop da baby, no Spanish, no references to previous episodes and this week still sucks, probably the worst one in quite some time. If Samuolo's meme was a "meh" instead of "oh my god, please stop posting" by comparison to the rest, you know something's wrong.

Like somehow doing an entirely non-tcg task and thinking yeah i need to make sure this happens first time so i should play 3 for consistency and it somehow making sense to me until I wake up. Then I also had one where I won euros in nekroz format with enemy-controller in the mirror and after testing it it's unironically not that bad.
