Big Changes at the Laundromat! Did They Help Sales?

- This laundromat has been a huge learning experience for me and I have known there are some things we could do to bring in more revenue. We are trying one of those things this week and hopefully it does not backfire.

The bigger machine at the front looks much better there. It's great to see business picking up. It's like when get a new house it takes a while to get things in the right place.

Your old repair guys just burn me up with how much they cut corners, over charged you, and didn't do what they said they did. I'm sure they are still out there screwing over other laundromat owners. Shameful! You have learned SO MUCH over the last year. That phone call had a very trollish sound to it. Crazy. Your videos are so fun to watch :-)

@@investfourmore UGH! Now I'm more burned up than before! Most poeple would not pay the bill and make them take you to court, but I don't see you as being that kind of guy. They should at least give you some discounts/write offs or something, but they probably won't because that is the nature of shysters.

Great job Mark. I wish the dryers in my area were 7min for a quarter. We get 4 mins here in Connecticut. Those vending machines are make more in a week now then they made in 6mo at Kersey!

Always very please to see a business keep doing better and better which this most certainly has done Mark. Based upon all the videos w/problems finding qualified folks in your area to repair them - might be best to consider sending 1-2 of your Sr. employees off to schooling so to speak for repair of these machines as sort of sound like another potential business opportunity to have do repairs @ other laudry mats too??? Maybe....
With regard to the "hostile" you mentioned in this video and not telling you which machine was giving him grief I suggest you number your equipment so to speak such 001W (White) 002S(Silver) and then makeup sort of a seating chart so to speak where each machine is located in each laundry mat. Then change your signage a tad instructing customers that when they text/call with issues that they use the reference number on each washer-dryer so you know specifically which machine is the "problem child" of the moment. Would kind of make it easier for the customer and for you to narrow down quickly which machine has issues.
Now if the smaller laundry mat would just pick up more business-more revenue for 2024 and less issues but it overall does seem to be slowly getting better but this one has a larger market it appears to pull from..... 👍👍👍

I’d love to pick your brain for some info, I don’t expect you to actually reply to this I’m mainly speaking rhetoric to myself. Anyway, I digress! The laundromat looks fantastic and I wish you every success in the world!
Wash and dry at our laundry mat us $3 for small load wash, 5 minutes dry for one quarter for regular dryer and one quarter for large dryer for 4 minutes. Large 50lb washer $6.50 cold wash, 6.75 warm and 7.00 hot wash. I think your prices are way lower than here. Mind you it's a new laundry mat with all new machines and they have an attendant all business hours, they also offer wash and fold. When we do all our comforters, blankets, jackets it runs us about $20 if we use the large washer and dryers. Not too bad
Not sure if you heard the recent news some guy was going around to laundry mats and stealing people's laundry detergents at knife point.😅

Great idea not meeting the alleged angry customer to give a refund. Those things could be set ups for robbery or a jealous person with a sharp object. That red flag gets redder when he can't be specific as to what was wrong.

It really irritates me when people confuse revenue for profit.
If you don't make a profit, you're wasting your time, so you no longer offer your services. Bad for you, but also quite bad for those who need the services.
