I drive professionally for a living and as I dropped off a client today (90+) he tripped and didn’t break his fall with his hands, he landed straight on his face, breaking his nose and splitting his forehead on the asphalt. He was out cold with blood gushing from his wounds. Called an ambulance and after 1000’s of ????? from the emergency operator was told an ambulance would be approximately 3-4 hours. Why are we even bothering paying for NHS when this is what has become of it. Disgusted !!! BTW I’m in Hampshire England

The NHS is the worst healthcare in Western Europe, other European countries are so ahead.
Anyone praising the NHS is clearly delusional, it's such an efficiency jump when you go to countries such as Germany or Belgium and use their healthcare.
Very long waiting times, staff who qualified in third world countries and are now working for the NHS (something that never happens in Europe, you have to qualify within the country) how many misdiagnosed and died, how many sent home and died, 7.7 million people on the NHS waiting list, not enough beds, not enough parking spaces around hospital, hospitals are old and outdated, GP doesn't care, people pulling their own teeth out because they can't get a dentist appointment and so on.

@Fahima9241 Because the UK doesn't invest where it should be, it doesn't want to change the way it build roads, housing and so on, the country is very old looking and feeling, driving is a nightmare, housing is a nightmare healthcare is a nightmare and so on.
Sadly, almost everything in UK is behind compared to other European countries, housing, airports, healthcare, roads, Law Enforcement, right down to the water pressure in the house.
Germany's law enforcement took down a coup, Belgium's healthcare ranks 3rd in the world, France has arguably the best water supply in the world, Italy has on average some of the longest living people in the world with a blue zone in their country. Norway's prison system is great too, meanwhile England still hires surgeons and GP's from Europe even though they left the EU. Their own government doesn't play by its own rules, Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock during the pandemic are prime examples. Their healthcare service is collapsing, their teachers and ambulance workers are striking too.
How far has the "5th richest country on Earth" fallen.

Doesn’t matter which country your working except 3rd World Countries, if you look around there is signs of progression in the country & progression in peoples welfare & Education.
You return to the UK & for years there has been a lowering of standards to the country & people’s welfare.
The biggest problem is in my opinion is No matter what you personal need is or area standards regards anything is like playing the Lottery

I’m sure this why there is so much negativity regards the UK among people.
Personally it’s like there is a drive to get the Country below 3rd world Countries. Sorry My Great Grandfather spent his life fighting for better standards for British, My Grandfather was in the trenches at 14 yes 14 not 16 in first World Ware then was in the 2nd world War again to keep & raise standards for British

This is incorrect. Wales receive a lump amount and then the Welsh Government then have budgetary freedoms to cut it up. The Welsh Government assigned 25% more per capita than England.
So the idea that Wales’ issues are because of Westminster is false. Wales is poorer and much more unhealthy which increases stresses on the Welsh NHS and the system of Doctors getting jobs in Wales in broken so it puts Doctors off coming here, which again increases stresses on the Welsh NHS.
These are all problems that the Welsh Government have caused and can remedy.

Immigration has not to do with the woes of the NHS. Government neglect and underfunding of the NHS is the problem

About 24-25% of the total NHS workforce are immigrants, however more to the point, so how exactly does “unlimited immigration” affect healthcare?

@@AG-ni8jm Absolute nonsense. When we do not know how many people are even in the country how can any future planning take place. How many doctors will be needed , hospital beds etc ? And, the very important matter of whether it can still be afforded as a free at the point of need service.

because when the NHS has to fix said work, the patient will be frowned upon. We saw it in dentistry.

@@riverdeep399The NHS is the worst healthcare in Western Europe, other European countries are so ahead.

@@KyojuroRengoku98 I dont know about other workers but for doctor you are wrong. Germany takes in almost everyone while england put very obnoxious loops in front of foreign doctors. The worst part is a doctor can be rejected after spending minimum 2 years and ton of money AT THE END of the proccess.
NHS is bad at everything including taking foreign doctors so they go to germany. Learning german form zero is easier for me compared to going to england.

The Welsh Government set the budget for the Welsh NHS.
Westminster grants Wales with its share of revenue and then Welsh Government cut it up. The Welsh Government spend 25% more per capita than England and yet here we are. The Welsh Government even have small scale taxation abilities to increase revenue but again the ignorant answer is to blame Westminster.
So they spend more and have the ability to raise more money, but still a poorer health service. Nothing to do with Westminster, it is about the administration of the service.
Trust me, after 27 years of Labour in power in Wales, they’re no better than the current UK Government.
