Wait, you’re not a disembodied head?
I do actually exist. My apologies if this is a shock.
We. Are. Outraged. 😂😂😂😂
Please make sure you let all that rot the appropriate amount of time, attempt to make a soup with the sludge and then throw everything away! You can buy more later, in the meantime, Wendy’s burgers are a suitable replacement. Pro-tip-never wash your hands-NEVER. EVER.
😂😂😂
2:10 Gotta love Milk Tea's, 'excuse the mess.' Watching Foodie reacts, we've all seen real messes & this is nowhere close., just real life for a busy woman.💖
I actually had to back up the vid to see this chaos - still looking…..
@@Pixaley Right? lol🔍
I can't find the mess either. No super tight angles to hide the apt, no garish colors or tons of dairy fat, actual food with plans to use, it's amazing😅❤
I love how well you plan all this out. My foolproof method of grocery shopping is to walk around HyVee planning to buy 3-4 specific things, get sidetracked and find myself at the register with 7 things I never planned to buy.
Ah, I am familiar with your method, having graduated from that particular school of shopping myself. However, with me wanting to follow my budget has me think it out a little more. I don't plan all the time exactly, but I try not to waste.
@@MilkTeaReacts You do it so smartly. It inspires for me to plan meals out a little better for myself 😊
Oh I love Hyvee 😂 It’s like Target, Hyvee tells me what I need haha
I really enjoyed seeing this little glimpse into your life. Thank you so much for sharing with us 💕
I loved seeing tidbits of her home in the background
THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! Do more of this plsssss
Yes❤
Yes, please!!!❤❤❤
Excuse me madam, but where are the other 10 kinds of cheese?! I’m used to cheese overload from our dear Mariam. Dispekful! Disappointed! 😂 (actually loved this video, thanks for showing this to us ❤)
Well, I'm starting low carb so watch this space, it could devolve. Sometimes you stare into Foodie and sometimes Foodie stares into you.
100% agree. I've already reported this video to CZcams!
Side note I need to go check out Milk's budget vids.
@@IrvingTransplant😂😂😂
Yeah! How dare you get so little cheese!? I’m so disappointed. Tsk tsk!
Isn't that the truth, lol.@@MilkTeaReacts
Weird, you didn't buy several kilos of every vegetable!! I like that you told us what you planned to make with your haul.
I cook up ground beef with onions, peppers, and salsa quite frequently (this afternoon as a matter of fact), and then I put it on top of salad for a taco salad with some cheese. The salsa is great to cook with.
"Pif Paf" might be the cutest name for a bug spray ever.
Thank you for this glimpse into your life, Milk! It's refreshing to see a grocery haul where you can actually visualise the potential tasty meals.
Mexican here. Love to see salsa making its way to Oman! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Milk that was really interesting. Your apartment looks cozy. Would be awesome to see more of these as you're much more entertaining than foodie👏
Lol, I'm sure you'd get bored. I'm the kind of person who eats the same 3 meals for 4 months straight.
@@MilkTeaReacts OMG I’m the same way! I’ve been eating the same 3-4 meals for a few weeks now. But hey, makes shopping and tracking macros easy!😅
I enjoyed this, thank you!
@@MilkTeaReacts That makes me like you even more, I'm the same.
😼GROCERY BEEEEEEEEEZZZEEEE 🎉 Hope everyone is having a great Thursday, weekend is just around the corner!!
Ha! I am a teacher on summer break: I will not be confined to your structures! EVERY DAY IS A WEEKEND, VIVA LA RESISTANCE!
@@MilkTeaReacts 🤣🤣🤣Love to all good teachers (which I'm positive you are!) and love how excited and playful you are about finally being on summer break, and that we get to see more of you! Lotsa love xx
Looks beautiful on you, as always ❤️
Thank you for inviting us into your home and sharing your groceries & menu plan! Always love learning something new ❤
I thought so as well.
Utterly enjoyed the video! More, please! ❤❤❤
You could add a blank frame around the wall controls and then hang wall decor in a gallery style? Nice haul! I love the pictures.
Oh that's an idea. I did keep some nice prints from a calendar I had, but they don't really fit in frames nicely? Maybe I'll look at it as a project again.
That is such a good and creative solution. 😃
This is so cool getting a little peek into your life!!
Love the cool pictures! Great grocery haul. You should do them regularly.
0:10 seconds into the video and I had to pause to laugh, and hit like! This is one of the many reasons you're beloved, Milk Tea! Classy snark is tricky, but you nail it every time! Right, gonna keep watching now, despite the lack of 'Middle-Eastern tyle' stock music, and B roll footage of you driving around.
Enjoyed this vlog so much! Giggled all the way comparing in my head amount of food with what FB gets for herself only too xD You're such a lovely person)))
‘Excuse the mess’ ??? What mess? Your apartment looks perfectly clean and tidy!
Thanks, but I don't love clutter so I was thinking the stuff on the table.
Thanks for checking the box for MENU IDEAS! Also, appreciating the list of items used and the consideration for budgeting. Loved this!
You're welcome, glad someone could benefit from my doom scrolling through recipe sites.
Thanks for sharing this! Seeing a reasonable grocery haul from half way around the world was fantastic and felt like a treat in gorlworld 😍.
Also, just a thought, a large piece of beautifully embroidered cloth would be great option for something to hang on your wall to fill the blank space under the projector screen.
That's w as such a nice change of pace.. Thank you ❤
All I could think of when you said zucchini boats was when Amberlynn made them 😂😂😂
Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, Chantal could never, with this grocery haul!
Excellent video, as always!!!!
Wow, such a small amount for groceries compared to Chantal's, very expensive, groceries and u only buy for one and Chantal, we know, only buys groceries for herself unless she is buying bit Scatman's "real" wife and kid!!!!
Nice place u have!
Again, Chantal can actually see the ocean from her window, but still lives in a dump, due to her, laziness, so again, Chantal could never keep a house like u do!!!!!
Both of them, nothing but a sideshow for money, that's it!
Thanks for sharing Milk Tea!!!!!
I don't even notice the sea in chantals view, all i see is that industrial parking lot and everything looks polluted and dirty😂
Refreshing to see a normal healthy grocery haul that will actually get used. Unlike FB.
Oh - I’ve never heard the word courgette before 🤣 Thank you for teaching me something new today!
No freezer full of bread?!?! 🤯
I live alone so buy groceries for myself too, it was so interesting to see what you bought. Also from the UK so it was nice seeing some familiar brands.
I do love a nice hot *salty* Milk Tea 🤭
Thank you for sharing.
Humble and down to earth grocery haul, no processed junk food and all pre planned for ingredients. Well done. I didn’t realise you had Morrison’s there, that’s great, I love Morrisons.
We don't actually have the store, but recently I think my store must have made a deal with them because I'm seeing a lot of their things pop up.
I LOVED when you used to take us to your grocery store when you were living in Saudi!
Wow, I was really surprised to see Morrisons stuff there, had no idea you can get it in Oman :D
It's not something you usually see around. I think the store I use must have started buying from them as they have quite a few things.
Thank you MT. Enjoyed this change of pace.
Really enjoyed this video MilkTea! Thanks for sharing what a reasonable grocery haul looks like for us gorls!
Now THAT’S a proper grocery haul
What a cute place you have! I love that you have a plan for all the food you buy! Thank you for sharing this with us ❤️
I love this! Thank you for sharing with us and I love the pictures 🖼️💜
You seem to be more of a minimalist, but....for that troubled wall, you could do a gallery wall by first, taking a frame (remove the glass and the backing board) and hang the 1 frame around all 4 electrical switches....(i know, stay with me). Then hang other framed art, in various sizes, to fill the wall asymmetrically. By framing the electrical units, it camouflages them by making them visually cohesive into the theme of the gallery wall.
Someone mentioned that elsewhere in the comments and I'm not against it if I could make it cohesive. Next time I'm somewhere that sells frames I'll look at my options.
I made pasta aglio e olio yesterday and it was AMAZING! Never had it before but it was super simple and I really didn’t need to use the whole box of pasta (also you can add tomatoes, olives, etc if you want it to be more hardy). A full L-bee of pasta lasted for dinner last night, a little bit of lunch for me, and dinner to tonight ! If your cutting costs, this one is a good recipe for it!
I saw a recipe for that come up in my shorts the other day, but I'm low-carbing it so no pasta for the minute.
I love this haul because it looks so much like our weekly shopping. Eggs with salsa is a favourite meal for my daughter and I as well, and we'll have it with a spinach salad on the side. Yum!!
This was such a nice change from Chantal's videos. A shopping haul with a meal plan in mind. Budgeting. And a clean, attractive home.
The thing with Chantal is, if she wants to eat takeout 3 meals a day, that's fine. I just wish she would stop doing those huge shopping hauls knowing that she's not going to do any cooking. It seems like she does the hauls for show, knowing that half of it is going to end up in the garbage when it goes bad. It's the wastefulness that makes me angry, especially now, when so many people are struggling to put 3 healthy meals a day on the table for their families.
This was so great ! It was refreshing to have a nice little video ! Thank you 😊.
Love this 💕
Chuckled to see good old Midwestern USA Bob's Red Mill products being used in Oman. That's my favorite pantry staple.
I miss Bob's red mill😢 can't find it anywhere in my present country 😮
TBH I rarely buy them because they cost more than local, but I needed a lower carb thickener.
Thanks for showing your meal planning haul, I enjoyed 😊
I can imagine Chantal's immediate first reaction right from word one - "It's not MY fault you have to buy cheap food..." 🤣🤣🤣 Cheers🤗💜🥂
It's not my fault she thinks driving to multiple stores and buying kilos of ingredients she'll just bin is budgeting at it's finest.
Hi Milk Tea, thank you for sharing a proper grocery haul.
Thank you for opening your home to us...❤
I enjoyed this very much. You have a lovely place dear.
Thank you! It's provided by work, but I've tried to make it a little more 'mine'.
Hey hey! Wishing you all a great day.
I love watching and comparing grocery hauls and I also keep a lot of proteins in the freezer. As long as my freezer is stocked, I can always pull a good meal together with pantry items and my fresh veg.
Yeah, every now and then I clear mine out to refresh it, but I like to keep a couple of things in there.
Lovely. I tell my daughter some of GW and I always tell her about your happenings. I am fascinated by expats working around the world.
I'm eating ow carb at the moment too, would love to see some recipes!
i loved this video! you are such a sweet lovely person, and would love to see more of these kinds of vids!♥️🥰💕
It was fun to see products I'm familiar with on your counter half way around the world. Bob's Red Mill and Old El Paso. Looking at your haul I realize how global the economy is. Thanks!
Yeah, we get a few imports here and I shop at a big international chain so I have more choice. Also, my choices are influenced by the food I make, so it's going to look more western.
Wow we are what we eat!! You seem to have bought mostly healthy food. You look healthy and vibrant ❤thanks for sharing this ❤
Your place is so nice and comfy looking!
Thank you! I did my best to settle into it when I arrived.
Brilliant video, more please (and would also love a follow up with parents C's of the meals that you made).
I'm not sure what word was corrected to 'parents C's', but I may put a run down on my other channel.
Great video and superb job at sticking to your budget! It helps to plan out all meals.
It was great seeing what kind of foods you can get there! I'd love to see how some of your low carb dishes come out.
$107.55 AU dollars, of course we are the most expensive on the list. Great video milk tea! 👏
Lol, it's ok, it's the exchange rate doing it's thing.
American are wondering what squash is , it’s not the vegetable it’s the Robinson fruit and barley which is the elite squash with the low calorie count 🙌🏼🙌🏼 lovely
American here. It's a beverage correct? What does it taste like?
@@Ophelia1023 it’s juice you dilute in water. Many flavours and brands , the fruit barley is summer fruits it’s soft , fruity , not overly sweet and refreshing.
@@butteredcrumpet7246 Thank you
back before I had my groceries delivered, I loved to see what people had in their carts. Then guess what their life was like. Thank you Milk!
Not even halfway in but already thoroughly enjoying the video Milky. 😃🌷
Loved this. Fun twist.
Yay I was hoping for vlog type content. Thanks for donating your free time ❤
Love love love the grocery haul! ❤
Your home is so lovely! I like your taste and genuinely really enjoyed this content. If you made more like this I’d watch outside of your regular content because I find you genuinely interesting outside of your reactions and I’m glad you made this!
I have a few things on my other channel, but tbh I was just being a little shady with this.
I really enjoyed this video; would love to see more like it!
Where is all the naan 🫓 bread ? It should be in the freezer 😂
This video was very much appreciated!!
Thank you for sharing- it’s a lovely video.
Fab video. Loved it !!
Aw, wonderful! You're spoiling us with all the content lately ☺️
Had no idea that one could buy less than a kilo of lemons in the Middle East! (Haven't had to buy a single lemon in years because we are blessed with a very productive Meyer lemon tree in our backyard.) Enjoy your meals: they sound great (and satiating!).
Oh, that tree sounds lovely.
Myer lemons are so delicious. The trees have a lifespan of only 25-30 years. All three of our trees, which we planted as saplings, died within just a few years of each other. Time passes fast.. plant a new Meyer lemon tree nearby when yours is about 10 years old... I wish we had.
I'm plant based lower carb. It takes a bit of adjusting to but for my body, it works. I've also just started Mounjaro to help get the weight off. Despite a nasty battery of gastro side effects, it's giving a steady loss of 2.5lbs a week and definitely reduced the "food noise" that has derailed me in the past
Well done! Lowering sugar is a big factor for me, so this works best to help me hold off cravings.
Borax (sodium tetraborate) makes an effective and easy treatment for ants without the obnoxious sprays. Terro is an American brand that uses borax in their traps, convenient but more expensive.
I mix 1 tablespoon of borax with 3 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 cup very hot water (or just enough to make a thick syrup). After it cools, I put drops on tiny pieces of flat plastic around the pantry floor, baseboard corners, etc.. wherever the ant trails are visible. You could also soak cotton balls in the solution, but I prefer drops so I can see the ants better.
The ants the find the traps take the food back to their nest effectively killing the colony. Dried borax (straight from the box) is good for sprinkling under the kitchen sink to take care of any beetle/roach infestation. It sticks to their legs which they ingest when grooming and greeting each other.
Very nice to see u guys get Bob's Red Mill products in grocery out there... that's the top quality for me for flours/grains/etc. Sending love from Sedona AZ xox
We have a few imports in the flour and grains aisle, but I don't usually buy them because they are so. expensive. However I was looking for a lower carb thickener for my cauliflower cheese sauce and at some point I had seen xantham gum, but they didn't have any in this time.
Yup. Bob's Red Mill are outstanding products. Being more expensive I tend to use them more mindfully so they do have a place in my family's low carb diet. The cornmeal with homemade kefir makes some of the best cornbread.. not a bite goes to waste.
I've been hoping for another haul since you posted the last one God knows how long ago. I love to see what people get at the grocery store.
I don't post often because I get into ruts with food so there are frequently no changes. However, with me trying to use up a bit more stuff and having a bit more time I'm trying a few different things this week.
@@MilkTeaReacts Ahhh that makes sense
I love grocery hauls! Thanks for posting your very healthy one, and hope you do more of them.
Really great grocery haul. Great haul.
Loved this x
Omg tea i love these videos!! Please do more.
Your haul makes much more sense than foodies!
Immediate double take when I saw that Morrisons logo 😂
I’m also intrigued by the Tuscan shrimp recipe, I’ll be looking it up now!
OMG the disclaimer --I died. I suggest you stagger the stag pics on the "control wall", one slightly higher than the other. Or, just one stag there and move the 2nd elsewhere. REALLY enjoyed this vid!!!!!
Haha i Love your ideas youre Just so entertaining❤ you Help me through stressful days at work a lot😊
Finished the vid now, love it! Thank you for giving a realistic perspective of food shopping in a Middle Eastern country from the perspective of someone who actually cooks and knows what she wants the ingredients for! Since Foodie shops completely by impulse, doesn't cook, and is mainly looking for the things she loves to snack on in between takeaway orders. But she acts as though she's an expert and that "this is just how it is here, you Westerners just don't know"! But she's also impulse ordering from aps, not actually going into stores, or planning meals herself.
I'm from the UK too, money is tight right now along with the cost of living crisis everywhere, having to be careful with grocery budget and looking for ways to save money and use up things we already have in the cupboards and fridge/freezer. Also LOVE herbs and spices, and enjoy plants and gardening and wanting to get into that more. This week went to B&M bargains (cheap chain in the UK selling all kinds of household and garden stuff) and they had potted herbs for sale. Some had been reduced to 10p - 50p each because they'd been dried out and didn't look as good as they should. But I could see they weren't close to dying. Things like rosemary, thyme, mint - woody type ones that with some love and care would revive and thrive! I also got coriander, basil and parsley plants. Nursing them back to health now with a good soak and windowsil sunshine, then plan to split and repot, trim down so I can use the decent upper levels/compost any that's no good, and encourage the plants to put out new shoots.
Some I'll split in half when I repot, with one outside, one on windowsill. The intention is to have mostly fresh herbs to use when cooking, plus backup store spices like paprika, cumin, cinnamon etc for things like homemade curries. Long term also working on turning a part of the garden into a vegetable patch!
Man, I miss B&M so much! Sometimes you just need cheap home goods you know?
@@MilkTeaReacts Right?? Also since Wilkos shut down, B&M took over as THE place to get reasonably priced home goods, pet toys, gardening stuff - and you can find some real bargains. The things Foodie misses by refusing to actually go to stores is when you find a bargain like the herbs I got. Or when things get marked down because they need to sell them, but they're perfectly edible still if you use them immediately. Haven't bought steak in a long while, but treated us when I found some in the reduced section, so we grilled them that night with some salad and balsamic dressing, and shared a bottle of wine. Was a reasonably priced treat that made us feel fancy for one night! lol
Love this haul!
We really enjoy your videos! ❤
I appreciate you saying the meals youre making as well.

Loved the video👍
How we know you are absolutely definitely a teacher - bean to cup coffee machine 😂
I have needs!
My husband and I eat so much slow cooked food, because welove to camouflage our vegetables(and theres a lot) with spices and the meat flavor. We eat "last date" vegtator what its called in english. 2 days 2 people, cooked whole foods 30 dollars because of last date. On the meat too. Im so proud to that healthy meal and healthy budget
In England we say 'short-dated' food. Food that will go bad today or the next. The freezer exists for a reason, get those bargains!
