Unfortunately, the Moto G Power 2021 won't get Android 12 because Motorola only provides one major Android update. I don't now why they don't like to update their phones and they are slow to update. Other manufactures provide as least 2 or 3 major Android updates. This phone was released around Feb 2021 with Android 10, but should have come Android 11.

I got the 11 update on Dec. 18, 2021, and it's really ruined the multitasking ability, and any game/ui with moving graphics. Everything crashes so much. If you're reading this and you haven't updated yet, be careful!!! I wish I could go back in time and tell myself not to. I'm trying to get firmware to flash it back to 10 but I don't know what my firmware version was. At least save that information before you update it. Don't be like me... 😩
Could you downgrade the phone? Or is the performance already better?
@@ThePanicEnd I think I figured out how, but I don't feel confident enough to attempt it given the risks. The performance has not improved at all. I've only gotten a handful of updates since then and though I hoped some of them would improve performance, they were just security updates. At this point I'm just riding out the awful performance until I can buy a different phone.

How come the one my relative has on Cricket is still on Android 10? It has not gotten Android 11. It shows the last update was the August 2021 patch and when I check it says you are up to date. No, August 2021 Security Patch Android 10 is not up to date.
Circket is the worste carrier when it comes to releasing updates to the customers phone, my phone is unlocked version
