Absolutely awestruck on two fronts. First, they don't teach this in American schools. In one vid I learned so much. Second thing is how much ancient China was like the Egyptians and the Babylonians. Almost identical and yet a world apart.

Really... Narrators will change, what you should be doing is giving Chris a chance. As much as he mispronounces things, he's still amazing at it! Sam also mispronounced many things during his time as narrator

Your pronunciation of "Zhou" distracted me so much that I had to rewind it and listen to #3 again. Because it didn't sound like Chinese at all... >.>
I'm by no means an expert at Chinese pronunciation, but my understanding of pinyin inclines me to to pronounce the zh like an sh (as in shush) but with a z and the second half like ow (like you stubbed your toe. Or as in how). But I don't blame you very much for that. Chinese is a language that is not very friendly towards English speakers at all! And who knows? Maybe how I would pronounce it would be wrong too!
No you're right! He did mispronounce it. Same as he did the Qi and the Qin
I only heard Zhou is pronounced like the English name “Joe”.
