- *Watch in HD* We had all but one pigeon home after the last race. What happened to it? I also go all out on the training this week to try to improve our results after languishing in the bottom half of the time sheet so far this season. Will it work in time for the weekend's race?

You really are quite funny....that dance was terrific 😂
Great content as usual and nice to see your hard work paying off.

@@howtotrainyourpigeon that's good news mate hopefully you get the rest back, how many are you missing now
well done mate good to see you progressing in the right direction. much better trapping 👍 not long for your 1st fed win 😊 it's a unbeatable feeling.i was spoilt i topped it 2 weeks running at first. atb
Yes mate when they flying very high it's because there's a hawk around, pigeons fly high to get above any hawks in order to stop hawks diving
Love the videos!
Very enjoyable video as always.
4ANGELS LOFT.. Great job on that race.👍🏿
It would do no harm to leave some old birds or stock birds out with your young birds. I do it with mine it's saved me loosing a few over the years.
❤❤❤❤
Hello, did you consider using a multicolored picket type fence on the loft roof
I would suggest a wire basket on a pole in front of the loft to help young birds for trapping training
With the widowhood system pick one out that suits you and follow it as best you can .if its a proven system it will cut a lot of the guess work out .good luck mate
Less than 6 hours on the wing you should race them again the following week. My pigeons will race the first 10 races straight. 20 birds go every week, the rest of the birds get training tosses.
If you get yourself a drone you can keep the birds off the neighbours roof, plus could be used for footage for your videos.
I use one occasionally for filming but reckon the neighbours would have questions 😂
Who ever told you you font need to train old birds once they are racing is wrong. I bet they are training thier own birds.
The trouble with V perches the pigeons are a pain to catch best have individual box perches much better easy to catch them 😮
Completely agree
V perch BOX perch POLE perch WIDOW HOOD BOX HEN BOX standing on the floor, doesent matter what the bird is standing on, if you handle them enough daily from a young age and not grab them real fast, they should stand there and let you pick them up and hold them gently with out them needed to be squeezed and them resisting you, when you watch all of DAN'S videos you can see he doesent handle them much, and when he does hold them, he looks like some1 who only started in pigeons a few weeks, very novice like, very awkward even, only pigeons that should be a handful is stock birds because there not used to being handled anymore after being stoped racing a few years, yes you will allways get 1 or 2 baby's and yearlings and 2/3 year old that just don't like being picked up and handled, but not the whole team, BOX them f0r racing and training the way DAN does that's fine, but between that they should be handled daily 2 see there OK and haven't any lumps or bumps on them especially there keel bone or wings. As baby's a few peanuts allways does the job 2 gaun there trust and not be nervous when you step into the loft
Nice 👍
Great result stay positive
Once your birds are used to widowhood they will trap easily. I have not had pigeons for years but I flew on widowhood cocks only and one good bird won a lot of club races for me, biggest problem was keeping him going week after week which I never managed
I USED TO STACK 3 BOX HIGH WITH ONE ROD HOLDING THEM BACK SO THEY ALL CAME OUT SAME TIMES
Loveing the vid and im only started
Glad you liked it
👍🏼
Enjoy your racing
Zoolander sounds like me haha, cant get a girlfriend, the silver fox hahaha
They are trapping well😎
Go in every loft on the allotments get chucked out of every loft on the allotments without any one bothering to report it because 9 times out of 10 the owner doesn't want it back.
I NEVER LET OR TOOK MY BIRDS ANY WHERE ON THERE OWN LET OUT WITH GOOD OLD FAITHFUL BIRDS UNTILL THEY COULD GET HOME FROM 50 MILES
THEN IF THEY GOT LOST GOOD RIDDANCE NOT WORTH KEEPING HELPED WITH NUMBERS IN LOFT OLD SLOWER BIRDS FIRST THEN THE FASTER ONE'S
I won the king's cup in 2021 hardy and wilson
Do you fly from different directions ?.
No just north road
@@howtotrainyourpigeon Ah ok well if ya try different directions it gives em a look around ta find the line!
Anymore young birds back ?
Are you sure it wasn’t a peregrine as they were shooting all over the place?
What I saw was a sparrowhawk but apparently there's a pair of falcons around so could have been
Sparrow hawks won’t bother them in flight. It’s the peregrine that chases them.
trapped really well for u
I'm from Philippines we train our pigeons 800 miles away from home for the competition I wish you all the best sir!
Ship me some birds to America.
