Scorpions are absolutely amazing. They also don't get the credit they deserve in the ability to being habituated. Many tarantulas are understood to adapt to handling. Some scorpions are as well. I am convinced that a lot more is going on in those tiny brains then we have any knowledge of. Jumping spiders are on a completely different level that is absolutely shocking.

Yes they in fact put these bugs in a terrarium like environment and they record. Then they pay some guy with a deep voice and a rattle in his throat to narrate.

The Comb-footed Spider really amazes me! She showed us what the “spider sense” really looks like, and killed that very strong Spitting Spider.
I always guard my sac against spitting bishes too.

That Spitting-Spider's already strong but. . . Man! It's like that Comb-footed Spider's a psychic knowing which the Spitting-Spider's going to attack, though I know they have this "spider sense". It's like watching Spiderman in live action. XD
This is my favorite episode of Monster Bug Wars, mostly because this episode has the most battles that could easily go either way. Not only that but the death scenes are some of the best I've seen.
I gotta agree with Linda, I really thought the Rock Spider would win against the Bark Mantis, but I was very impressed and pleased to see the opposite happen! Finally a Mantis won against a spider in a pretty fair match! :D I also love how the mantis eats the spider eyes first. XD

The fight between the little scorpion and the pirate spider was pretty awesome, possible the best fight on this series. Scorpions tend to beat spiders (unless they are a lot smaller), but this fight seemed balanced, and either fighter could have won.
I love how often Katydids are used as food faudr for other bugs in this series, but here we have an episode of two katydids duking it out.
