That poor katydid getting eaten out from inside while alive all the way to the head and seeing that centipede wiggling inside the head was one of the worst things I've ever seen. Mother Nature gives zero Fs about your feelings.

The spider almost always win when opponent gets stuck in web, not really a fight but more of an ambush.
The centipede was sort of a fight, with all the wriggling it did and the fact it just wouldnt die could have easily made it win

you find on youtube videos of Katydid vs. Tarantula, the Katy won several times even against a camel spider!! btw, most of this recordings are staged, it takes week to find one and to find two in a battle is like a lottery win
Whoever the cameramen are, they have amazing ways to create suspense!

if a former part of the team i can tell you that most act were staged, we had to wait weeks only to find some exemplars, and to find two in a fight is like winning in a lottery, we helped with a lot otherwise we would never captured such scenes

I have newly found respect for all the bugs after watching these!
I grow my own Mary Jane in a green house that simulates a rain forest conditions. This is how I met the jumping spider for myself. I live in Oregon and we have all kinds of bugs but I was shocked at the behavior off the jumping spider. It was the first spider I saw that looked directly at me. It’s a scary experience to have a spider turn and lift its head to look at you. It also hid bEhind the branches trying to break eyeliner with me. Cool spiders but next season I’m spraying for bugs

That jumping spider battle was an actual battle. Retreats and Counterattacks? Nice.
I rarely ever see a cellar spider or a centipede lose a fight. I guess you have to pit them against each other for one to actually lose a battle. I expected the cellar spider would win as soon as I saw that centipede climb into its web, but damn, that was so close. I'm very grateful these things are not large enough to be a threat to humans.
I'm surprised how the cellar spider was able to wrap the centipede into a ball with web.
I am equally glad that these bugs are still small.

Even if there was A Cellar Spider the size of say a Large Bear, it still wouldn't be a threat mainly because it's silk is Weak and it's Venom isn't even Potent to Humans.

Yeah, the Speckled House Spider vs Leaf Cutter Ant Soldier battle was unfair af, but the Geophilid Centipede vs Costa Rican Cellar Spider was Fair because Geos can actually beat some spiders in their Web, he couldn't beat the Cellar Spider because of it's long legs and Cellar Spiders are very Good Predators.
I agree, the family of Pholicidae are very good predators despite its delicate appearance.
