My husband would not stop making jokes about my weight… Ever since we got engaged, he has just made me feel more and more self-conscious about my weight. My best friend kept on warning me that he was toxic, but I didn’t listen - then I felt like it was too late to call off the wedding. Somehow it was only after the ceremony, that I decided it was time to give him a taste of his own medicine.

Ex Hubicus Bastardus didn't joke about me, he was straight-up cruel. I was heavy when he met me and heavy when he married me. He once pointed to a young girl whose jeans were so tight they looked painted on, and asked me "Why can't you look like that?" By the time I left him he'd called me a stupid g**k so often that I believed it, and I resigned myself to spending the rest of my life alone because I didn't think anyone would ever want me. He got hurt back because of how he was treating her. Bullying/Humiliation always has a way of coming back to you. Treat others how you want to be treated. Why was he crying?
