While full gas blowbacks are more widely known in the world of airsoft, Elite Force is happy to offer this model in the half blowback design. A half blowback or HBB, comes at a lower price but offers more in build durability, mechanical superiority and CO2 efficiency. There are less moving components inside the operation of a half blowback which means less wear and tear on parts that would otherwise break down faster. The mechanics and moving parts are located in the magazine. This means a new mag or a mag rebuild kit fixes most maintenance issues and extends the long service life of your pistol.

Nothing in the works for 2.0 GBB with VFC OEM.
Anyone else find it a bit odd that the new set of M&P9 full blow back models aren't 2.0 designs, but this HBB is?

"half blow back" is a dumb marketing gimmick. Only half the slide blows back on a Desert Eagle, that isn't called "HBB".
Guns are either blow-back or non-blow-back.
Is it done by gas? GBB.
Is it done by electricity? EBB.
That's not what half blow back means
It means the slide doesn't travel the full length. It's just a version of GBB that uses less gas but still has "some" of the feedback of a full blow back GBB
