- Our favourite twins David and Stephen are back with their colourful Irish flag potato cakes. Using basic veggies and their twist on a traditional pesto, the boys have created a modern version of an Irish favourite. The perfect vegan starter if you're having friends over for St Patrick's Day. i use flax seeds :P you just add 2tbsp water to 1tbsp seeds and it turns into the same sorta texture as egg whites, and it binds the same too. Flax seeds also keep longer than eggs too

What they made was the vegan/gluten free version of potato cakes. Potato
cakes are normal made with just mash potato, white flower, egg and
seasoning of your choice.
here a easy and quick potato cake recipe:
500g mash potato
40 to 50g plain flour
about 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
pepper, to taste
60 to 80g butter or oil
mix all together and cook it with a bit of oil untill each side is
golden brown.
