    Lyrics:
    Exalted Son of glory humbly came down
    Wounded for the broken, bore the sinner's crown
    Through the willing death You died
    You became our bread of life
    Jesus, we hunger and thirst for You, Lord
    As we remember Your sacrifice
    We see the wounds from Your hands and pierced side
    Extravagant love! Oh how great the price
    Now our lives are Yours
    The priceless blood of Jesus, this gracious cup
    A life spring overflowing, poured out for us
    He has conquered every sin
    For the ones who trust in Him
    The cup we drink, the bread we eat
    Reminds us You are all we need
    And makes us long for Your wedding feast

    A beautiful prayer that I pray for my sons and their partners...that God would create a hunger and thirst for righteousness, His truth that leads to freedom, His love that passionately paid the price for our salvation, and the Word; which is alive, powerful, and active. Thank you for this amazing song.

    Erin's voice is raw, passionate and you can sense her sincere worship of Jesus Christ. Hearing this song turns into my prayer. "The cup we drink, the bread we eat reminds us, you (Jesus) are all we need."

    Thank you for making songs and music that glorifies Christ. It is so sad that many churches rather sing songs that are not full of substance so please keep up the marvellous work of lifting up Christ in every songs you folks sing and write.

      Yes it is. But it doesn't have to be just a communion song, as we can remember Christ's sacrifice anytime. But it does help if your church celebrates communion every week.

    He's a very interesting drummer if you watch some of their other videos. He's always doing so much mixing in percussion, but it always sounds great and never too busy.

    This song sounds like another song I’ve heard but can’t for the life of me remember it. Anyone know what I’m thinking of? Definitely Hillsong but don’t remember the song.

      Or with the Bible. I stand where I stand because of the Bible, not my own wisdom.

      @birdstuckinchimney Před 9 lety

      Emily Satterfield So if someone interprets the bible differently to you (Hillsong for example)....who's right?

    • @EmilySatterfield91
      @EmilySatterfield91 Před 9 lety +13

      The Bible is right. Scripture has to be what we interpret scripture by, so we'd look to the Bible as a whole to see what the correct interpretation is. The Bible has many applications but only one meaning because God isn't double minded.

    Unless this is a seminar, why on earth would anyone want to meet in Nightclub environments? No Sunlight God made, now windows that show the outside the Lord made, nothing natural, carefully orchestrated music ....Piper's pipe dream I guess!

      Unfortunately, these are the times. Studying why cathedrals were built hundreds of years ago had what you described in mind. But, its not so much about the time we live in but , what will we do with the time we live in. May it be that our lives live out the love of God.
