Dude, sovereign grace songs are so solid man. I wish they played more stuff like this on the radio. I don't mean to offend anyone at all by saying this or call anyone out, but there are not enough songs about the cross on the radio. I mean, what is more "Positive and encouraging" than knowing a Savior, God himself, has came into the world and died for your sins so that you can have a relationship with Him and spend eternity with Him in heaven?
Amen. That's cause the songs are doctrine sound brother.
You will never hear anything like this on Bethel, Hillsong, Jesus culture etc.
Jon Boy I totally agree with you. The problem songs about the cross aren't is the cross is offensive because it causes the unbeliever to walk away from a sinful lifestyle and instead turn to Jesus who paid for there sin. For us as believers it is hope and life, but for the world it is dimeaning, and offensive.
We sing this song at my church and I can't get through it without weeping. Wow. So good! Praise God.
