I looked at both a Searay and this Galeon and the latter is the one for me.Always been a Searay guy but thats changed.

I’m always comparing new makes/models to Riviera’s and without exception they always fall short. In this instance, waayyyyy short.

Is that range at 1500 rpm accurate? Less range than 2200 or 2500 rpm?
I thought that odd too.
You need to pull them back to 1,000 RPM and below for the range to extend significantly. 1,500 is an inverse sweet spot (not on the plane and not displacing) see this example for similar engines but different hull:

It may be a quality yacht but the lines look off to me. They do not flow and as such make the boat look clunky to me. For that money I want beauty and quality.
At first i wasn't sold on the looks but i have come to like it.
Especially woman like the looks.
