- đĽ IN THIS EPISODE â We took our Winnebago Travato 59G to to Moonshine Creek Campground in Western North Carolina at the foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains. Moonshine Creek is a beautiful place to camp. Nestled in a valley with Moonshine Creek running through the middle of it. We decided to cook and eat Philly Cheeseteaks in the van. We finished off our first day with a beautiful campfire and enjoyed a fireside chat. The morning brought a full tour of Moonshine Creek including meeting the owner. Did you enjoy this video? That looks like a fantastic place to stay. I've already put it on my must visit list. On a personal note. With all the folks I talk to, several of them are in troubling relationships. I am encouraged by the love and devoting you two have for each other. I see how you two learn, love, and grow together. It's beautiful to see this.

I lost my mother-in-law this morning. She was 97 and lived a godly life and know she is shining in heaven. So knowing her story was amazing to know her.

Mike and Karen, first your sandwiches looked sooo good! Second, I've been writing stories on Facebook about this little girl inside longs to go back before our dairy was ever thought of. Of me walking in the pasture and imaging the trail the cows made were a railroad track and there waiting for the train to cross so I can go on my way in the tracks of the pickup and tractor made going back and forth in the pasture. I'm longing to go back to those days of old and back to the good old days. I wish God would grant us one wish to go back in time and relive those happy days and go back home to the place I grew up. Iâm not really a camper never have camped. But if I could camp like you to do it have the outfit like you guys have to camp in I think I would love to camp. Especially probably nap next to one of those creeks and just relaxing and listening to the water. Thanks for sharing. U2 were awesome.

More like real camping to me, on the ground, not concrete, under a real canopy of large trees, rushing waters and in the mountains..and not far from Maggie Valley too....thanks for taking me along ! But Mike, you never told me what kind of motorcycle you used to ride...?

I have sisters that are twins just 15 months younger than me. They had such a bond. I lost Ruby back in Jan. I use to listen to all my cousins tell stories growing up! I was so intrigued with them. Love the new places and keep the adventures going!!

But I have a question for you, Karen, what is your make up secret? You are absolutely gorgeous and your make up is perfect. I would love to know your regimen! Honestly, I donât buy expensive makeup. Itâs all what I call âover the counterâ that I purchase at a drugstore, Walmart etc. My foundation is Fit by Maybeline, then I put on a pink/plum powder blush by Cover Girl, next Cover Girl pressed age defying powder -natural beige, Maybeline medium brown brow pencil and use a small brush to spread it out, a white or ivory eye shadow all over my eyelids as a base, Revlon âseductiveâ purple eyeshadows in 4 shades. Lighter shades from corner of eye to halfway then darker purple from middle out to end of brow. Maybeline Expresso pencil eyeliner, then a glam black mascara. I am a local to this area. Not many campgrounds are tucked away in the country like this one and that "sets it apart". Balsam Mtns are on the Jackson County NC (Sylva) and Haywood County NC (Waynesville) border. The area that inspired the book and Movie named Cold Mountain. -- Taking your food for this trip was a good idea - nearest restaurants are almost 30 min of driving away. -- The pride the owners have in making this place special is obvious.

Great video! I live in PA and my daughter works on the Chattooga river in GA/SC so always looking for alternative places to stay/camp. I was always in awe of the beautiful mountains traveling through the Sylva area on Rt 74
