Shhh... I still get away with these basics if ever people moan that I'm not a DJ for using digital, I do a couple of these on the decks! In all seriousness though, these are great for people to know. Cheers mate.
I still have a pair of them. Used to like them but I found the cartridge was so wide it was hard to drop the needle onto the cue stickers accurately. I’ve not used them for years now. I don’t really have any opinion about them being discontinued as I don’t use them. I actually mainly scratch with Serato without needles using Phase DJ Controllers.
@@DJFurio Oh, ok. It’s been my go-to for so long, don’t really know where to start looking for an alternative. In fact, I don’t really need a scratch needle, more in the market for a mix needle for sampling. Any suggestions?
Yes. The main reason is so you don’t catch your hands on the tonearm. It’s even more important when beat juggling as it would make it really difficult going between the 2 decks if they weren’t sideways.

Excellent video to get the beginners on-board. Keep up the good work.
Appreciate it. Thanks
I love that after I clicked, the first record I saw was Booger Breaks, heh heh. Classic. Cheers!
Definitely a classic breaks record
Excellent New series! I'm just setting up my turntables now, so so learn along with you!
Cheers Furio
:)
I hope I can help. Ask any questions you want
For beginers really recommend numark PT01
They are nice. People may regret not waiting in the long term though for something more traditional. It depends how serious they are.
Awesome. I'm gonna get a new deck soon and come back to this video.
That’s great
thank you sir!
Hope you found it useful
Old school ✌ great video. Yeah man nice one. 🔥
Yeah wanted to keep things simple for this one. Thanks for watching.

I hear you. Someone said similar to me for using Serato and Phase Controllers. I just find digital more practical.
Great work sir!!!!
Thanks for watching
@@DJFurio I'd love to see videos about the mpc one and stems.
Stems isn’t out until March. I will see if I can get hold of it
I was waiting for this series 💥💯
Anything useful or was it too basic for your skill level?
@@DJFurio oh yeah very useful thank you
Good to hear
Nice video 👍
Thanks
Great content !
Thanks for watching
Good stuff!!! 👍🏽 How do you feel about the Shure M44-7 being discontinued?

I honestly find the Thudrumble ones I use really good for sampling. They have a good range on them.
@@DJFurio Thanks, appreciate it. ✌🏽
👍
Thanks. It’s really basic but a few people have asked for some scratch tutorials.
Is there a specific reason for having turntables side ways?.
Yes. The main reason is so you don’t catch your hands on the tonearm. It’s even more important when beat juggling as it would make it really difficult going between the 2 decks if they weren’t sideways.
@@DJFurio thanks
Heehaw breaks
Always my go to breaks record
