This was almost me at SFGAdv today. Nitro was down for the entire day (apparently it was lift issues, according to the ETR Discord server.) But of course, because it was Holiday in the Park, a miracle happened and it started running round 4:00. The line was only 7 minutes long and I was able to get on.
The side by side with Boss and Griffon had me roaring. It be like that right now. Nice seeing a Six Flags St. Louis vlog that didn’t feature a bunch a spoiled enthusiast complaining about the dumbest things! Well done 👍. You guys got to check out SE and Boss at night next time. Completely different experience in the dark.

Coach whacked his knee going down the 10 story slide, still remember his agony coming out of the pipe (miss you Thompson!). 11/10, recommend to anyone
I love Six Flags St. Louis. I've been going there ever since I was a little kid. My mom used to go a lot in the 80's and 90's. She said that when Batman opened in 1995, all of that long ass queue was filled. I'm so excited for Supergirl to come in 2019 (I loved Catwoman's Whip at Over Texas in 2016), but I wish they could get more than one flat ride at a time.
Ahhh yes the year of hell. The Scrambler was down for new cars. The ferris wheel was down getting a new control system that was harder to install than anticipated. Excalibur was down due to a major part that failed requiring off-site fabrication (the internal shop couldn't do it). Freeze was generally fine though it might have just needed a new LIM or two.
The ironic thing about that Mr. Freeze is the fact that the special effects actually overheated. One day my family and I go there and the station was smoking. Now they don't have the spinning lights in there.
You can put Thomas the Dank Engine under an entire video and you would have me laughing for the entire video😂 Anyway been watching all of your videos, its too freaking amazing mate keep it up👌
I remember the first time I rode The Batman at Six Flags STL the line was overflowing, all sections of the queue were filled and they had to make a temp section between you entered the actual line. There used to be a police car that played 4 different audio clips on repeat. It was incredibly annoying when stuck next to it in line.
When I was a teenager we would wait hours yes hours to get on ninja. And screaming eagle like 2 hr wait minimum. Gave us time to make out with our boyfriends in line🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sorry you didn't get to ride the freeze. Went to great America Friday for the first time and as I left I thought this park was awesome but it doesn't have the Mr freeze.
Six flags St Louis, it's like if you traveled from other states to get here you wouldn't be impressed. I think it makes its money off the locals except now they charge $20 for parking that's fucking ridiculous and half the reason I've only gone about three times in the past 10 yrs! What is a teenager I had a season pass for probably 6 yrs straight. That place was my second home in the 90s. Compared to other six flags as theme parks it's meh. But during the summer when your bored AF and you got a little extra $ its lit
Bro, no bull shit, this is one of my home parks (I'm from columbia smack in the middle of missouri) and I always see people complaining about the batman queue in STL....but im gonna blow your mind...when I was younger it wasnt long enough! Now granted, the s curve part at the beginning is annoying because they cant shorten it in any way, and having a traditional zig zag that they could use as needed would be better, but where the station is and the ride is they had to make a long line as well. But anyway, when I was a young one back in the 90s and early 2000s the line would spill out into the park. I remember going when I was too small to ride and my dad and cousin went on it and they had additional rope queue set up out in the midway and shit. I've even waited as far back as the s curvy entrance area. Insane. And when mr. Freeze dropped it had a 2 hour wait as well quite often. But now days theres never that many people there, and for good reason. Maybe if they RMC the boss itll attract a good crowd some day but I doubt they'd ever do it cuz its st Louis. Everyone knows it would be a killer rmc though the way it sits in the woods and how fucking huge it is.
Note about the ninja. It has been running better this year but still isn't that enjoyable. Mr. Freeze has also been a temperamental son of a b*tch lately. It never wants to start but once it does it works for the whole day. Also it's been one train ops for the past two weeks but it's open now. The boss was called rough because of the helix of death at the end. Since it's gone the ride is so much better.
I have not been to Six Flags in 5+ years. When did they get rid of the helix? If I remember correctly that was one of the major features when it opened.

In the 90s I waited in the ENTIRE Batman queue at SFOG, including the outdoor part, and all of the switchbacks were open. I think it was 3 hours

It did and you waited for two to three hours just to get in the indoor part and then you stood for another 45 minutes waiting to load
At GAdv, that queue was PACKED most of the time. Waiting in line was worth it, though. I also remember Chiller's line being PACKED.
