If this is true it's fucking retarded. Drinking is not how you gain weight, eating and appropriate exercising is. Not to mention that whatever weight you gain from drinking isn't a 'good' weight, it's excess fat that doesn't in any way make you stronger or tougher, you just get slower and get tired much quicker once you start sobering up, which should be very quick process considering the sweating in an NBA game.
