Being a Broncos fan in the Detroit area, I watch the Lions a lot. I can tell you that, assuming that we have a healthy wide receiver room, Josh Reynolds will absolutely be a weapon.

Krull is already TE1 as he has one ability Dulcich does not have, availability. However, if Dulcich can stay on the field, he is a great TE.
I wonder how long it will take for Bo Nix to adjust to the much smaller definition of being open in the NFL. That is something I believe Drew Lock never has done, that and a few other things he has not done like win. If Nix even comes close to Brees in his career, Nix and Payton should win a lot of games and maybe a SB or two, or three, etc.
After watching Reynold's highlights, I saw that he seems to always be open for the QB to find. I think he is an outstanding addition to the WR room. I suspect Reynolds will help Nix realize his potential. I suspect that if any WR/TE/RB is open Nix will find him. That puts him heads and shoulders above what we saw from Russell Wilson for two seasons. Should be something to watch and I sure am looking forward to and excited to see what they can do. Let's rock BC. Fair winds and following seas.

I mean technically that nobody that said it was Sean Payton but at the same time I get the discussion that’s being talked about and yes it’s true we haven’t seen Nix thrown a ball in a actual NFL game yet. Let’s just hope Coach can back up what he says and finally end our QB drought when this season gets going

People need to chill with these comparisons. As a potential ceiling for Nix I think it's fair to bring up Brees, but Brees is one of the all-time great passers so it's kind of crazy to compare a rookie to him this early on.
Everybody is comparable to somebody in some ways

I know you are all about the clicks...but no body even Shaun Peyton has any idea if Bo Nix, or any college QB is going to be good enough to be a starter in the NFL. Just look at QB history and get real about all of this. Don't forget that Zach laid 31 points on this team at Mile High just last year. Did Stitham do that? Zach did that with the worst O Line in the NFL. It was Zach's tallent that got him all of those wins last year. Rogers refused to play with that Offense after his injury..so the Jets built him a completley new O Line and drafted Lineman and Tight End at #10 and 11 in front of Denver. That said, Bo has about the same quality of Offense to play with as did Zach with the Jets. So get ready to learn that, as Bo struggles to show his tallent. Will you be as forgiving as the Jets fans, who wern't for Zach? Look for 1 touchdown and 3 field goals and if he has no interceptions but keeps throwing the ball out of bounds...then what? If your not careful Zach, who is a starter in the NFL will be in Las Vegas with the Raiders and kicking Bo's and Stidhams butt.

@@LockedOnBroncos Maybe...maybe not. A lot of things seem talk worthy on social media where traffic drives ad revenue. It's interesting that the media pretty much ignored a lot of things Payton said when he first came to Denver. Only when the Hackett controversy & the Wilson conflict fiasco really blew up did they start trying to extrapolate meaning out of his words that nobody would have noticed before.
He said more in that presser about all three of the QBs being gym rats than he did about Nix being like Drew Brees. In point of fact, he seemed to deliberately pivot off that question after offering a vague comparison that pointed to them both wanting to learn quickly. Nothing he said amounted to "a computer brain" with Nix IMO.
I fear we are repeating the same mistakes we made with Paxton Lynch. Elway told the media 3 days after he drafted him that he expected he would compete for the starting job. That was wildly out of step with where he was in his development & there was no reason to say that. It simply heaped a ton of pressure on him that didn't need to be there.

Every tiny thing becomes a point to be magnified for sensationalism as anyone can see when you scan the list of CZcams offerings & how they're represented. The same thing is true of things posted on Face Book sports pages. I listened to the press conference. I heard Payton say nothing more than a vague references to how both Nix & Brees were always wanting to always be learning more. I actually heard him pivot out of that comparison thing to talking about how all three of them are gym rats.

You said there's way too much being made of it which isn't true. People can make it something it's not. Payton could have declined to answer the question. He instead gave a thoughtful answer of ways the Broncos' current rookie QB compares to Drew Brees, a Hall of Fame quarterback. So his answer is worth reading into especially when he starts talking about things like ball placement and accuracy. That's more than coach speak to gratify a reporter
