The original English (Ocean) dub of DBZ of this moment, has a very edited but very memorable version of the Vegeta to Great Ape (Oozaru) transformation moment that is relived once more here, where it belongs. Yes there are many updated versions and more accurate, this is the version I first saw and remember so its the one I'm using.
Vegeta tosses a false moon into the sky to trigger his gigantic Great Ape transformation and rampages and beats up Goku afterwards taking great joy in doing so, I might add. Great transformation moment, great rampaging, great moments and close ups, just a lot of fun. He's actually defeated in the next episode but it's a very quick moment that involves cutting his huge tail off and not needed here. We don't show defeat, only big fun.
This captures the element of the bigness quite well.
See? Even Vegeta enjoys being large and in charge.

So the first guy is correct, Great Ape Vegeta is probably somewhere around 100,000 to 120,000
The thing I love so much about the battle with Vegeta is how they whittle his power down little by little over the course of a brutal fight
Wha'ts not fair is that OOzaru Vegeta had crushed Goku with his bare hands while he never had done it with captain Ginyu and the rest of the Ginyu force. Maybe in the past the Ginyu force had witness Vegeta going giant in his ape-Oozaru form but none of them was caught by Vegeta's hand grip and get squeeze until their ribs breaks into pieces.

I know all about the Oozaru, or the Great Ape Transformation of the Saiyans because I am a DBZ fan🐉! It is similar to how a person becomes a werewolf whenever there is a full moon at night except they turn into a giant monkey when he/she looks at the full moon as long as he/she has a tail! 🦍🌕
I always did love the Saiyan's Great Ape form, even as a child because of my love for giant monsters and kaiju like Godzilla! That form is also the key to turn into a SSJ4 🐒🍌!!!

this scene about Vegeta by winning in his OOzaru form crushing goku's body to pieces is something Vegeta fans enjoys but NOT for Goku fans.
This always reminded me of Yoshis Island when Baby Bowser became a giant.

Vegeta shouldve went great ape against frieza -- he would've dominated
Not even close
That final Zenkai from Krillin pushed him from 500k to 3mil MAX. If he went great ape, he would've been at 30mil, aka 1/4 of Freeza's maximum power. No, he would not have dominated.
As quickly as Frieza was able to jump up to 50% of his max power against Goku, Vegeta wouldn't have had a chance to finish transforming.... unless Frieza decided to humiliate Vegeta at his strongest. (Kinda like SSJ Goku did to him, 😆)
Vegeta in great ape form voice is pitched up.
He sounds so goofy while in the funimation dub he sounds more monstrous.
If only Goku didn't cut his Tail off until after Vegeta took on Gohan in his Oozaru form...

@@OddOneOut665 No way dude. Oozaru Gohan is just crazy because he can't control his form including Goku and other "low class". Only elites can. Vegeta in his Oozaru form is able to talk and is already far superior to Goku and Gohan in their base form. Also there is no evidence Goku can use kaioken while in Oozaru. He probably can't considering he won't have control

Giant ape Vegeta still claps Giant Ape Goku.
I doubt Goku could control his Oozaru form, let alone well enough to use a technique as difficult and draining as the Kaio-Ken

The transformation is EXTREMELY painful, hence why most Saiyans have no recollection of it, kind of like circumcision done when you're a baby, but if done like Vegeta and Nappa could do it, you'd have all the power and all the control.
