Toei was really struggling with animation in the late 2000s to the mid 2010s (as we then saw with early Dragon Ball Super)
Not to mention how it would've used the modern Yamamuro designs, which... Ya'know, *suck!*
Wtf no... No one would've liked it if it used Yamamuro's modern designs with thoses highlights, plastic hair and unexpressive faces

I hate dragon ball super but the design there is in db Kai's openings and endings is what I would like to have in episodes. Just my opinion. If after I want to see former design again nothing stop me to gonna see normal dbz.

For its story mode and it being the first DB game to have CaC feature, I do miss it for that.

I think breakers did it the best because of all the 3d titles, that one seems the most seamless in term of the transformation itself. Even Kakarot, as well animated as it is, cuts away from normal vegeta to imply that he transformed rather than show

Kakarot is a story heavy game. It is literally the story of Dragon Ball Z. Sparking Zero is a fighting game so of course it isn't gonna make you watch a drawn out cutscene. They probably didn't even show the full animation but thats besides the point. I don't think anything is gonna top Kakarot's representation any time soon.

6:58 why is nappa there , he is dead by that point his back got broken in battle , and then vegeta hurls him into the sky while his back is broken and gets rid of his body with an energy blast , who made that part of them game ? Lol
Not sure if you’ve played XV2, but the reason why was because in this universe, Goku arrived late due to Turles, so he couldn’t damage Nappa. This means Vegeta couldn’t kill Nappa since he deemed a Saiyan who could not move to be useless.
This was to make the difficulty a bit higher too I assume.

Well ofc Z kakarot has a better ape transformation than sparking. Kakarot has the luxury of having high budget pre rendered animations, while sparking zero only showed actual in game animation
