After seeing a cool video by That Racing Channel where they installed a K&N Filter and gained 8 rwhp I went and ordered one from Amazon immediately.

After the install, Tall Guy and I went for a little ride and based on my butt dyno, I don't feel a difference. I did notice more sound which is pretty cool but at $50 bucks for the filter I don't feel like it was a waste.

I do K&N drop in filters in every one of my cars. They work great at getting more air into the motor. A lot of times people have cold air intakes that aren't in closed, so all they do is soak up hot air from under the hood (Not a good thing, and way more expensive for very little gains if any).

I droped one into my r/t I feel a little pull. And it Definitely change the sound of my exhaust. I have a mid muffler delete. With the stock it was louder. With the K&N it still loud. But Kind of took out some of the bass to the idle.

It will help a little and the notice will be small but it does give it better gas mileage and horse power. It all depends on the car. I have a 2014 Maxima and notice a small gain. Far as cold air intakes go, without a tune it will only give you better sound and a small increase also. So if you do that make sure you get it tuned. I agree sounds good like it is. Remember when you recharge it. Don't over oil it. Keep rolling hard 😎

I put that filter on my charger hellcat and I immediately felt a decrease in throttle response, and about 1000 miles later my car is throwing a code with cylinders misfiring. Not sure if it’s linked but I changed back to stock filter :/ I heard the oil can affect it but idk.. waiting to see what dealer says

I added the K&N drop in filters to each of my 2016 Hellcats, Challenger/Charger, & #1 made Supercharger sound louder, & # 2 made cars more responsive & feel stronger. However, I've no objective dyno or track data to prove their worth. 🤔 Will I go back to stock? No.🤔

The difference is noticed under light excelleration not hard excelleration. In city traffic you should notice that it shouldn't take as much effort to gain speed. It breaths better.
You didn't even oil the filter before installing it. Read the instructions. You don't get the full benefits of the filter without oiling it, to activate the filter's filter material. Plus, small debris could possibly potentially get through and damage internals, over time. Love your vids man. Look forward to meeting you and seeing Cheap-O-Kitty someday.
Cold air intake or short ram intake would give u 8 to 12 horsepower. Just the filter you want really feel a gain
