It´s just too bad we weren´t able to see Germany vs Portugal in the euro 2016 final.
France didn´t deserve to eliminate Germany and France intentionally injured CR7 in order to gain an unfair advantage, but ironically lost to Portugal without CR7. What an irony, divine justice.
I am sure the German players would not have harmed CR7. Fingers crossed we see them next year F2F in the Confed Cup final.

If your talking about the average age of the German team, you're very wrong. Some statistics: Germany was the YOUNGEST team at the Euro 2016! With the substitute Jonathan Tah replacing Rüdiger the average age was at 25,8 years. But they where the team with the highest market value. It was 562 million Euros, with 175m just for Müller, Kroos and Özil (Kroos now raised from 50m to 60m). They now have also many young talents in their team. Look at these U21s Kimmich, Meyer, Brandt, Sané... and Serge Gnabry with a hattrick in his first international! They will be hard to beat! :D

@@fightingforce8498 nobody in Germany cares about that tbh because we are still proud about 2014. In 20 years nobody will talk about that Germany got kicked out in 2018, but they will still be talking about the legendary 7-1.

@Diego Garza actually it's not. It happens every once in a while to every big team. Italy in 2010, France in 02, Spain in 14. All of those teams were the defending Champs. So you see it's nothing special to get eliminated early, a 7-1 in a semifinal on the other hand is very special.

Maradona tactics was similar to Kevin Keegan's England at Euro 2000. Attack attack attack. Sadly both managers forgot about defence. Especially against top level opposition

Red card for Neuer and penalty 4 Argentina... but, for some reason, that didnt happen. Different game should have been. Germany was pure luck on that final.-
