@@maxadrums I went back and listened to them and they were awesome but I think Wheel takes the cake for me still. Both awesome bands but these guys just have such a great sound I'm addicted to it

I dig it! Its passionate, cerebral, and melodic. It's harder than you think to use multiple time signatures in a song and make it sound smooth and not forced. I'm biased though. The two greatest albums this genre of music has produced IMO are Aenima and Sound awake. These guys are cut from that cloth for sure. This album is going to really put these guys on the map in a big way!

Damn this song is badass! After loving bands like Katatonia, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Source, Trope, Lucid Planet, Ceterum, Kolm, Soen, etc. I am rather ashamed that i took so long to find Wheel. But I am here now! Definitely buying this CD to go with their other two.

FlawedCoil82 - Glad to have you aboard. FYI they have 3 previous album releases: The Path EP (2017), The Divide EP (2018), and full length Moving Backwards (2019).
I bought the compilation CD that includes both THE PATH and THE DIVIDE EPs on it (and then MOVING BACKWARDS as well). 🙂

Vocalist reminds me of Steven Wilson...and that isn't a bad thing at all.
Definitely Tool influenced, but they're also utilizing a lot of other prog/metal norms, like the screaming 80's style guitar riffs, also I can't think of a Tool song with a major staccato breakdown (correct me if I'm wrong). The tribal drum beats and decent polyrhythms definitely harkens to post Lateralus Tool. Dude's voice though, that's their linchpin, hands down.

Good but just a complete copy of Tool and blatantly unoriginal. I’ll put my money on Sarin thanks - the album they just put out is heavy, melodic, original. Can’t wait to see how they progress.

Look tool will probably never release another album again and someone should carry the torch as there is a market a huge one at that for this sound! Like it or not it will be there and i think this band will be moderately famous soon if they keep this quality level up
