For this week and next, I had an opportunity to change pace from the WotC precon unboxings thanks to a couple of custom commander deck orders I received for the holidays.
Today, I will show you the first one which features Krenko, Mob Boss as the general. Krenko is one of the most popular commanders that people use, and was even featured in my 2nd 5 commanders under $5 that will make your friends hate you video. The budget I was given to male the build was just above my normal budget at $50 and I believe what I came up with will do the job just fine.

Sword of the Paruns is a brutal addition to a Krenko deck and only like $2.
While 4 to play and 3 to equip isn't exactly cheap, it gives all your goblins +2/0 (when they're attacking) and can be used to untap Krenko and go infinite the same way as Staff of Domination.
It's essentially a more aggressive addition/replacement, trading the lifegain, tapping, and card draw abilities away for an anthem effect.
I did tell the person who's getting the deck that they should get that foe the deck if they don't have one already. Sadly my only copy is in my yurlock deck.
I like the combo because both cards are useful on their own so even if you don’t get the combo they still help the deck.
Exactly! When I built someone a deck like this, I try and do just that to prove that it can be done regardless of budget. It doesnt always work as well as this one did though.
Thank you for a nice deck. I understand the gameplan is a bit more non-combat damage oriented, but would a Devilish Valet or Shared Animosity fit in here? What would you replace? I got a Vanquisher's banner lying around, too.
You're absolutely welcome. The answer to your question is that yes all 3 of those cards would for well into this deck. With those additions you would be eating into a morw combat based strategy and as such if you wanted to do that, it wouldn't be horrible to take out some of tge pieces that lend to the direct damage based strategy. That or some of tge ransom gobbos could be an option as well.
@@BluebearsGames Thank you for the tips. Found out I've got so many of the cards on the list lying around already. Makes it a super budget deck to build! Just need to get hold of a Goblin War Strike and Kyren Negotiations somehow. Both seem super old and sold out in my LGS.

There's actually a trio of this type of effect that work well. Tge valet is one, there's another creature that does it, and then the impact tremors.
I built a muxis goblin grandee deck thinking it would not be as busted as krenko. Now my friends refuse to play against it lol.
Mucus is actually a really good Goblin. I wish other tribes had a similar lord like it honestly. It's ability is like a quasi cascade which is really powerful.
@BluebearsGames I think the last straw was turn two muxis and swung for 35 damage l'll try a super budget krenko and hopefully they won't rage quit
