I imagine he wakes up in a cage locked with a few padlocks with spikes above him. The trapper is like in the room or on a camera watching and the first thing he does is look at the padlocks and is shocked and disappointed, "MasterLocks?! Really?!! You could have done so much better than this, it's honestly disappointing" he says with a sigh before smashing the locks together and opening the cage.
Forget a movie, this is prime game fodder! Somebody needs to create a Portal-like first-person puzzle game based on the adventures of LPL. It's basically a perfect fit!

The fact that the wire to the bomb could’ve obviously been pulled out before picking open the lock really brings it all together.
things is with bombs, they can be wired/made to explode if power is lost.
Its possible to make bomb where wire is preventing explosion if power is flowing

I don’t think his left hand could have reached the wire, the chain was loose enough for him to pick the padlock but not incredibly loose.
The chain wouldn't let him reach his arm all the way, you can see it when he gave it a tug.

Working at a music store (and generally just being a musician) has absolutely changed my brain because I immediately picked out all the things he used to make the gag trap.
I obviously recognize the kick pedal, but what are the other elements? I’d love a rundown :)
@@Agnes.Nutter @Agnes Nutter The kick pedal is the big one (the bike chain and pedal make the whole mechanism look more complicated), but the others that stuck out to me were the random drum key (for tightening drum heads) sticking out on the right. The bombs wiring is made out of audio cables, and there are several audio jack converters (which convert 35mm audio jacks seen in most headphones to 1/4 inch audio jacks seen in electric guitars/amps and higher-end audio equipment). I can't quite make out what the "bomb" on the left is.
Also this isn't music equipment but I still find it very funny how he uses just a regular belt and padlock to simulate his hand being bound.

what i love most about this, is that it implies that while he was still trapped to the machine with a literal ticking time bomb, he still took the time to set up a recording set up to film himself

I was REALLY hoping for a "now, I'll do it again just to prove it wasn't a fluke."
I like the idea that the bomb had a long enough fuse for LPL to realize the issue with it, get his recording stuff set up, and then record a full video of him picking his way out of the trap.
I guess jigsaw let him think for way too long before actually starting the timer
If you watch any of the movie you will realize most of the time the timer only started once a trigger is pulled.
LPL just need a few second tho

this was a fun watch! i think your impression is really good - your accent still shows through a little bit, but you nail his cadence in your line delivery... when you warned of the lock's "vanishingly little security" with a chuckle, you sounded exactly like him ^^
Little known fact if he so desires the lock picking lawyer can ‘lockpick a person’ causing them to fall apart like a Lego Star Wars character

I still think Jigsaw would put him into a trap where he has to not pick a lock. He's sent down a zipline that will take 10 seconds to cross, and the only thing holding him up is a Master lock.

I’ve never heard someone sound like they have the same accent as someone while having a very different accent from that person at the same time. It’s like all you had to do was copy his cadence and intonation to sound like him without having to transform your accent completely.

I've picked a masterlock using a paperclip and a bobby pin, but masterlocks are shit so that's really not much of a brag.
For a crappy padlock like that it would have been more realistic to rake it open, but that way we don’t get the “nice click out of one” lines.
