this. THIS!!! this is exactly why I believe Kiara had a crush on him since the beginning. I think JJ may have had SOME feelings for her, but I don’t think he realized it until they were on the island together.
I hate when people say JJ and Kiara came out of no where when it’s been set up since the beginning.
No JJ always had feelings for her. He literally pointed that out to John b in season 1. Everytime she kissed someone else he was hurt. Of course kie had feelings for him since the beginning. Otherwise they wouldn't care and protect each other in that way. Plus all of their deep talks.
Like when she jumped in the water and he was like I liked it al ot! Friends don't say that about friends also in season one I believe it was John b who said we all kinda have a thing for her! Jj always made fun of Kies relationships but like for no reason other than he liked her aswell. If they didn't confess their feelings in season 3 I would have sued OBX
I think JJ always had a liking for her but it never really got serious on his end until she had that thing with Pope, and he realized how much he wanted to be the one with her instead. And for Kie, I don't think she actually acknowledged her feelings till the end of season 2, cause when they had that moment on the boat she didn't look surprised at all
i think they fully fell inlove with eachother when they were on the boat in the shiping container alone with each other

I know this sounds so corny, but I lowkey got emotional watching this. This show is obviously a bit dramatic at times, but it is so iconic. I wish I could go back to 2020 and watch the first season all over again. Yes, there will be another season, but they are all getting older in real life, and I feel like it just doesn't hit the same. The first 2 seasons were amazing. This show inspired me to do more adventures and have a good time while you're young.
This is litteraly what i'm trying to say season 1 will always be the best season and also season 2, i feel like season 3 just doesn't hit the same
im the exact sameee idk season 3 doesnt have the same easyness that it did in seasons 1 and 2 like its solely focused on the treasure not on the characters and im kinda sad bc theyre all growing up ahhhh
Personally I did not liked season 2 at all I feel like this one is better, it is better better filmed and in my opinion less boring than season 2.

fr like they just kissed, had a really emotional moment, and then they had like 1 or 2 scenes again and acted like nothing happened lol, i get that they were on a new mission but like give us something, and then they did the time jump so basically we didn’t get any moment of them after that kiss that could’ve happened like one season ago

It has always been JJ from the start tho. JJ is always there to protect and save her. they have always just been perfect for each other and i feel like the only reason JJ didn't want to get with her at first in season 3 is because he felt like he wasn't good enough for her. Their chemistry and everything about them is perfect. I just wish we got more of them after they kissed in season 3. i love them sm!
JJ just benig there for everyone. Saves kie from camp, helps John b find his dad and sacrificing himself for pope and the pouges in the recent seasons..

im so glad that these two are finally together that i haven't seen such a chemistry in teenage dramas for a long time. anyway im really happy but i wish some fans weren't so obsessed. they don't seem as close to each other as they used to in real life. i missed seeing their friendship. i hope the fans don't mix real life and the series that they don't overwhelm people so that we can see more of their old self.

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death.
I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse. Also, you are more likely to be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse.
People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.
JJ is an excellent character and I’m interested to see how his dad’s abuse and peoples perception of him affect him moving forward (especially in his relationship with Keira) Kie realized just how much she loved JJ when she almost lost him at the end of season 2 and grew closer to him on the island. And now we see her caring for JJ when pretty much no one else is. He’s pushing her away because he’s scared, he doesn’t think he deserves her, he knows that he’s messed up because of his dad, and he doesn’t know how to be a boyfriend. And Keira understands all of that. She doesn’t tell him she loves him because she expects something in return, she tells him because she truly does and knows that he needs to hear it.

I really want to see more of them in season 4. I don’t want them to be together yet though. I want to see JJ push through his trauma and fears with her help, but in a realistic and slow way. You don’t just get over feeling that way, even though JJ finally pushed past that wall of denial/ fear and was able to tell her that he returned her feelings. To be honest, I want to see JJ and Keira working through the rough things together, and I really hope this time jump doesn’t just skip/ignore all of that in favor of drama or new storylines. But there’s also the issue of if they didn’t skip all of that, what have they been doing for a year and a half? It seems like either way you can’t win unless there are flashbacks to them working through things. I really hope they don’t just make them broken up and have them work through all of it in season 4. That would undermine the process made at the end of season 3. I guess there is a way that it could be done right, but overall I hope we get more Keira and JJ next season and really focus on the harder things they still need to go through. But also just how much they love each other.

They are platonic soulmates in real life, I'm sure about that, that's why they work so good as a couple in the show. But it makes me so sad to see that in interviews or videos they don't look friends anymore like they used to.

Watching this made me realise all the people that said their relationship was rushed in season 3 were wrong. They've always had feelings for one another and I think their time together on the island just strengthened it enough for both of them to realise.

JJ and Kiara are my top favorite ship. Since season 1, I knew that Kiara and JJ liked each other. JJ was the only one she didn't kiss and JJ looks at Kie in a non-friendship way. They're just amazing together. Their development is the best. Their best scene by far is definitely from season 1 when JJ breaks down and Kiara sees his bruises from his dad and she hugs him. I love that they finally kiss in season 3. It was such a slow burn but it was so worth it. Beautiful edit. You really showed their story. 💗👌
