Also, given his remarkable vision about how crypto is supposed to bring a better life to the common man, Cardano has commited all the sins it points their finger at: started as a pre-mined ICO, has a single company behind the whole project (IOHK), a single man is the face of the entire thing(him), and they do are interested in the token to go up in value, eventhough he tries to downplay it when it goes up as "a nice to have", and then rant angrily on YT when it goes down and people correctly point out how slow they go, about how "people don't get it".
But even with all that, Cardano may be the best thought out crypto project not called Bitcoin; and that's quite an achievement and I respect that
@@villevalste1888 that said, I don't mind a project to be centralized tbh; decentralization is not critical for long term success; having accesible technology that works is what's needed. Crypto is still software after all.
What I don't like is cult of personality and Cardano relies on that more heavily than other projects, because there is few execution to cover for it. You don't se CZ or the FTX guy doing the heavy PR Charles does all the time, not Vitalik, I don't even know who the guys of Solana are, or the BAYC; because they have products that do that for them. Cardano needs that.
Eventhough we all hope Cardano can deliver as they say they will, every day other companies come up with the same kinds of projects and Cardano still is about the value of their commitment instead of the value of actually a delivered product that reached a critical mass of users. I hope they achieve more this year

It< makes sense, BTC and crypto is off helping to regulate, rather than pretend it won't ever happen. The big institutions getting in is the catalyst that will launch us into the stratosphere.
