    Amazing tutorial, thank you! I found you guys on twitter some time ago. Once this madness ends and fabric stores reopen I will be getting your patterns and trying to make my own mask :). Awesome stuff, keep it up!

      @@ClosetChampion Glue is the key for this and it helped a lot. I need to order some canvas and spray glue for the future! I managed to fix that mask today and I'm gonna definitely try to make more mask when I get working sewing machine. I even might consider patreon just for support!

    I feel daft in asking how do you know where inside to cut the eye holes and such?

    • @ClosetChampion
      @ClosetChampion  Před 3 lety

      Once you stich the eye appliqué down, you’ll be able to see the stitching on the inside of the mask. I use that as a guide!

    Dude, that was an awesome tutorial. In general, how long does it take to make a mask (the entire process, like the one in the tutorial) from A-to-Z?

    • @ClosetChampion
      @ClosetChampion  Před 9 měsíci +2

      It truly depends on the design. The fastest I’ve made my own mask was 3 days.

    This is a great series.
    How long does the whole process take from start to finish?

    • @ClosetChampion
      @ClosetChampion  Před 3 lety +1

      It depends on the particular design. A simple classic mask can be done in about 10 hours. Something like my main design may be 30-35 hours if I’m not rushing.

  • @aiwassmirko
    @aiwassmirko Před 2 lety +1

    Great tutorial! Where do you get a decent size styrofoam head? Everything I found is way too small (even compared to a small human head) and that makes me impossible to get those sewing edges neat as yours

    • @ClosetChampion
      @ClosetChampion  Před 2 lety +2

      CFX makes a great sized head that we use! It’s a good head to start with that’ll last a long time.

    Awesome videos! How due you get the mesuremnts for the actual bag of the mask?

    • @ClosetChampion
      @ClosetChampion  Před 3 lety +1

      Our two main measurements are crown and neck! The rest is understanding how the head is shaped.

    What do u use to clean the mask ?

    • @ClosetChampion
      @ClosetChampion  Před 3 lety +1

      Hand washing with Oxyclean is always a go to. Never machine wash. Depends on the materials of the mask though.
