Did anyone else not know Janet Montgomery was English besides me? Had not a clue. The way she speaks is so realistic that you'd honestly never know.

Last week's episode I think it was she spoke in her native accent and Casey said she had a bad English accent, I thought it was funny.
I’d seen her on Merlin, so I knew she was English. But it’s easy to forget because she nails the American accent.
I have always loved this show. Janet Montgomery who plays Dr. Lauren Bloom her American accent is on point. We had no idea.

Wheels and cogs turning in Janet's head after he puts his hand on Freema's leg for the second time 😂🤣 the look on her face makes me laugh every time. I just love the cast of NA. You see they don't fake liking each other. It's not just PR like in most shows. And you feel it when you watch the series.

That was an affectionate touch. What's interesting is that Sharpe and Max had their legs crossed on opposite side. However, when Sharpe starts talking about the facets of a career woman and what she likes, Max's posture changes. He is more receptive, he sits straight with his legs open. And interestingly at that moment Sharpe also changes posture and crosses her legs towards Max. Then follows the hand movement. ... I like

Janet seems surprised and then slightly annoyed when she sees Ryan's hand on Freema's leg. She tries to hide it and keep a straight face at the end but even that was a struggle. I cant wait for this show to come back to season 3!

No secret about Janet Montgomery being British. She played Sarah in Dancing on the Edge with Chiweltel Ejiofor long before New Amsterdam. So of course I knew she was British but I was shocked I didn’t even recognize it was her
Guys don't read too much into the leg touching. I have friends who touch a lot. Its like breathing to them and I have had to learn to not take it personally as someone who doesn't like to be touched. Ryan gesticulates a lot and therefore I can see why he touched her leg in respect to say please go on speaking. It's clear she is used to it. It doesn't mean he wants the kitty or a relationship. Heck if they are into each other it would explain their chemistry on camera. Eg. Ross and Rachel were actually crushing on each other, but I guess time will tell. We don't know if Ryan us dating and I haven't seen freema with anyone.
Rather the leg touching meant something or not, it brings in the ratings, and brings attention to the series. Their chemistry draws the fan base, which is great for ratings and sponsors.

In my country, touch for example is very common. I, for example, don't like it, but it's cultural in my country. I was surprised to see Ryan doing, American another culture but he has the intimacy of colleagues and I agree that doesn't mean that the two have a relationship. In fact, I believe it has nothing to do with it. They are co-workers and that's it.

She didn’t seem shocked by it either. So something is going on, or he’s just just touchy feely.
I think he's a touchy feely because it's not the first time. There's another interview where he touched her leg tho.... Both of them are use to it. You can see they're more close to each other than with Janet.

She wasn't uncomfortable at all... And he touched her leg twice and she was totally fine with it. I have touchy feely friends, the first time you're a little surprised and then you get used to it and there isn't necessarily anything intimate to read into. That said Janet was clearly shocked, the first and the second time he did it.
