Slow but awesome scenic modded Otis express elevator at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto ON

(📹 7/3/2024) Here is the Don Alfonso express elevator at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto ON. This is on a dedicated controller and is the only scenic elevator in the hotel. It's very slow compared to the main passenger elevators, but it's intentional so people can see an epic view of some high rise apartments and more. Although nothing will beat the Four Seasons Philadelphia elevators. I absolutely love the buttons and braille on these. Finally the first time I've seen the concave version of US91, which was a nice and epic treat. For some weird reason, these have DMG's Edge series braille and tactile, which is the first time I've seen cross branding on fixtures. The surface mount hall stations, the COP, and the engraving are definitely the work of Dupar and not MAD. These might have MAD digital drivers since the main elevators have MAD sounding chimes. All the passenger elevators here have this issue where the weight sensor triggers and displays the overload messages. Quite an interesting treat to see cross branded fixtures.

I went to the lower level floor. It leads to another door right in front of the elevator doors. The door goes into an office.

I think they didn’t replace the controllers yet
