The newest reason for Brandon Penrna to hate the Kansas City Chiefs. Brandon Perna & Tom Grossi discuss NFL news, NFL players, and football.

“Spears him”
I’m dead yall crushing it

Of course the transgender looking liberal leaves this comment
Your regular, post, and off-season football entertainment brought to you by the Kansas City Chiefs.
He’s a fucking kicker- Brandon Perna
He ain’t wrong lol
Person says something...
People get offended..
So, just another day?
I disagree with him, but honestly, why do people care? He isn't a politician, psychtrist, or doctor, as Brandon said he is a kicker.
the NFL has had some weird interactions with controversial stuff in the last 20 years, i think the advocates for desensitized footbal would want him punished, and a ton of older fans are confused at why this is controversial plus yeah its a fucking kicker. the news media is probably spreading it cause they ALWAYS want to reach in and AFFECT the nfl, why? cause sports controls the ratings, especially since they cant talk about sex anymore (sex sells aint true if it gets you removed from your cushy teleprompter reading job)
A psychiatrist??? Fuck psychiatrists.
Butker's jersey is now the top seller of all the other players in KC
He’s a kicker with three Super Bowl rings and he’s got the longest field goal in Super Bowl history not to mention he’s never missed a kick in the playoffs and he’s got over 15 playoff wins under his belt Perna is just a donkey hater!
@@quarterbackin3262so he is a kicker why does anyone care
He can speak what he wants. But I have the freedom to voice that I disagree with him.
Fine. You're probably also not part of the group trying to have him fired, or have his family harrassed/murdered by the mob.
As a conservative, we invite debate and disagreement, but the left has gone way too far. If we say something publicly, we literally have to fear for our lives and livelihoods, not like these woke punks who fear disagreement and hurtful words, and call them violence.
somehow i must be living under a rock because i heard almost nothing about this i heard people were mad at butker but other than that i found out nothing
Better off not knowing.
Basically blue-haired psychos and simps got mad because someone said something they disagreed with nowhere near them.
As a liberal feminist, I heavily disagree with him (watched his speech), but he did nothing wrong. Like Tom said, he's speaking at a Catholic school that agrees with him. Also, like Perna said, he's just a freaking kicker. His opinion shouldnt matter to you, if you dont like it. Seriously, people need to get a life
I’ve always been an advocate of shut up and dribble/throw/kick/what-have-you, but people who were for it must have thought it would never come at them from the other side
I think the issue is that he is basically downplaying all the hard work of the women who graduated and basically told them their degrees don't mean anything and their lives won't truly begin until they get married and have children. And even if he believes that's true, I don't think that was the time or place to make that opinion.
Now I agree with him on some points and disagree on other points, but mad respect to you for listening to the whole thing and respecting other peoples opinions.
@@pac3470same
@@pac3470 Thanks. Yeah, it was not easy to listen to, but I had to hear the source because both sides of the media did not cover the speech well. Outrage culture is the real enemy, not one person's opinion
Hey Perna, do you know it’s really funny is now Harrison Butker not only the best kicker in the NFL but he’s by far the most recognized. He shot his brand up 1000% those Chiefs just keep on winning.!!!

Apparently, Justin Tucker doesn't exist.
Better message than most of the NFL abusing women, but lets not cancel people that hurt women and children because they are star WRs and QBs
You do realize his views are similar to that TV show "The Handmaid's Tale"
@@mychaeljones7526have you ever seen the gif of Ed Helms reply to Zach Galifanakis in the early part of The Hangover?
It applies to you.
You clearly didn't watch his whole speech.
@@mychaeljones7526You are not a serious person.
People can disagree with two things at once. His views are dogshit, doesn’t matter, he’s a kicker, and abusing women is also wrong. Also, bad values and abusing women often go hand in hand.
Why does the world hate people who say that family is the most important thing you have?
If that’s what he meant to say, then he failed miserably.
They want to tear down the traditional family
@@beastmode_bumblebee who is they? And what do they want to replace it with?
Because they are not capable of having a family.

But they canceled Colin Kaepernick, and told him he should have stuck to football....so there is that.
@@wanderinroyso what just cause they did it to him doesn’t mean they should do it to other people.
One was during games and one was a catholic man at a catholic school @wanderinroy
@@wanderinroy i never said that we should've canceled kapernick
@@wanderinroy oh so many issues with this:
Collin removed himself from the nfl by being benched for Blaine Gabbert.
Collin used his platform (not owned by him nor sanctioned by the owners, for him to make a political statement, based on lies, irrelevant but true. He was paid to play football, not stage a protest.)
Collin refused several offers given to him.
Collin's talent, or lack-thereof, was not enough to counteract the fanbase backlash over his anti-America protest.
Butker was hired by the Catholic University to give a speech, (widely supported by the student body) at a Catholic University about his Catholic beliefs.
Butker is still one of the best kickers in the NFL.
Butker won something by making clutch field goals in February 2024's Super Bowl.
Butker didn't say anything untrue, and it's a vast minority actually complaining about his comments (see his jersey sales since.)
I ordered my Butker jersey, plus I hear it’s a lucky number, the Chiefs are the news, we are so lucky.
I wanted to be navigated to football and got steered to a political convo instead. Still love you guys and the community 🙂 even if i hate politics.
Btw I love your take on this whole thing. Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house!
The best winning bet you can make is to bet that the overwhelming majority of those who are criticizing Butker have not either read the transcript of his speech, watched video of it, or heard the full audio from it. The criticism of what he said has been based more on ignorance or being triggered that he lives a traditionalist life.
I agree with Perna. I won't watch the whole thing because he's a kicker and I don't give a 💩. If he was someone more important, then I might care.
@@shawnjohnson9763Well since you’re hear you clearly do care. So stop lying and admit that you’re an offended snowflake just like Boomer Perna and gay boy Grossi
I just hate that this thing has been blown out of proportion. He said his beliefs to a place that was filled with people who agreed with him and liked it. He didn’t tell anyone what to do and he is allowed to have his own opinions. Sure there are people who disagree, but there are many who agree and those who he addressed the opinion did agree. People need to stop dragging him through the mud. He is a kicker and his opinion should not matter to others.
Debatable. Pretty conservative myself and wasn't a fan of a lot of it
He was pretty preachy about what Catholics should do like stand up against abortion or reassert masculinity. Interestingly, he wasn't as preachy about women because he mainly talked about the benefits of homemaking .
So, yeah, it's his opinion. So, why should we care?
Apparently you didn't bother to listen to the women who, hoping to celebrate their accomplishment just before they begin their careers, complained about having to sit and listen to a schmuck admonish them for not wanting to be a homemaker and submit to the will of their husbands. Blinders are a wonderful way to avoid ... reality.
Apparently you, like Butker, didn't listen to anything the women had to say after having to listen to a schmuck admonish them for not being submissive.
Apparently you, like Butker, didn't listen to anything the women had to say.
It was a beautiful speech.
I agree. It’s just like Kaepernick. Who cares what he thinks he’s a quarterback.
Was* 😂
You DO realize the NFL in general is arguably the worse offender of the professional sports leagues in regards to blatant conservatism, right.
@name-vi6fs The difference for Kap was the time he was protesting. He wasn't playing good.
Teams knew he was athletic but struggled going through all his reads. That's how he was benched for Gabbert.
Different perspective
@@vincentbernal635 that is BS, at the point the 9ers cut him, he was statistically the 7th best QB in the NFL. I also wouldn't compare an person who thinks women should stay home and hates gay people, is equal to a guy who thinks cops should stop beating black people in the streets, you might have a problem.
Sorry Perna, but if you’re not willing to listen to the entire thing then you don’t have a say in the matter.
How about just coughing up the $10k and be a superstar? That would be epic.
Even the nuns from that college said Butker was not representing their views. He has entered the find out phase of life.
Find out what exactly? The man makes millions of dollars and his jersey sales has skyrocketed since this fiasco.
@zpdrsn6315 this sort of thing will impact his future contacts. He has become a punchline.
@@JohnClarkW Doubt it. His jersey sales are going up right now and to be honest most people will forget about this in a month or so. Kind of like how we forgot all the issues with Kamara, Tyreek Hill, Aldrick Rosas, Sherman, Incognito, Greg Hardy, and many others
Most overblown "controversy" ever. He's a Catholic player giving a speech at a Catholic college.
Yes! Thank you.
Plus, he never said "no woman would ever be happy having a job," or "women are only good as homemakers."
Like, ffs, he was paid to go there and give a 20 minute speech (where he praised his wife as the reason for his success, btw.)
He also spoke to the men. Anyone angry on behalf of the men, even after he said the only reason he was the man he is was because of his wife (paraphrasing, but close?)
Is this the SIMP channel?
He’s a Catholic speaking at a Catholic school’s graduation and he spoke about Catholic beliefs. If you’re not Catholic, the speech probably has no meaning for you and you probably don’t agree with it, but so what? He’s not showing up at your house or place of work and making you do everything he said, nor is he making everyone subscribe to his beliefs. Everyone needs to chill TF out.
TBH, there’s one Chiefs player that deserves scorn and backlash for his recent actions, but it sure as hell ain’t Butker.
Right.
Even Tae who decided long ago teenage girls are her demographic, prolly has some inclination to support her Mother, who chose to be a Mother rather than single Billionaire.

I remembered a school getting sued because they banned an after school Satan club.
The goal was to promote other religions in the school besides Christianity.
Either the school lost or settled but the club remained.

Butker spoke the truth. I like how he said that women were being lied to and then those same liars were the ones getting mad.
Confusing to hear people not support Mothers. I guess some people don't have Mothers?
This comment section is off the rails! 😂
Butker has been a right-wing ad spokesman for a few years now. He made several anti-abortion ads for the state of Kansas, which I'm happy to say didn't work. The state voted to let women continue to decide their own health-care.
But, you'd celebrate if he were say a woman beater?

But you have to hate him because he is against murdering children.

All of these Bible thumpers coming out of the woodworks. Just to say, all of your religions can’t be right, and even none of them could be right. The other thing is, which one is more likely to get you into heaven, a book, who’s “core values” enables you to be a hateful person towards people who never asked for your hatred, or just being a good person, who lives their life respecting others, being kind and helpful towards all lives, regardless of who they are, with the exceptions of landlords and the rich? If your answer is the first one, your Harrison Butler type of person. If your answer is the second one, you’re a Nazareth Carpenter type of person. I loved Bible stories as a kid and a teenager, and a lot of the lessons rubbed off on me, but that’s all they are, lessons on how to be a good person. Don’t let mistranslation, misinterpretation and false ideologies lead you down the hateful path of the damned, because despite what Demagogues would have you believe, last second prayers don’t forgive a life of sin, and prayers in a public forum fall on deaf ears.
Signed, an atheist who finds the Bible interesting and full good lessons, but doesn’t subscribe to the zealotry of church 🙂
It's a shame the media did what they did to drag him through the mud and misrepresent what he said. Then again, that's all media does anymore. There was no reason for it aside from target him.. whether it's for being a Chief or a Christian I don't know.
FFS even Bill Maher didn't disagree with what he said. Much ado about nothing.

He does live in Colorado, and has a Napoleon complex, so....
Never thought I'd see the day when my favorite CZcams video analyst would trash a man for his religious belief.
I literally watch this show over cable bc they don't let outside things like religion and politics consume their football analysis.
Stick to football and other sports. Leave another man's religion out of this.
To be fair, his opinion is literally the majority opinion of the world if you don't live on social media...
The Twitter babies are so out of touch with the real world. You've got blue haired liberals on the streets protesting for a country in which they would be slaves. I'm talking about the Palestinian countries btw.
Around probably 3p CT there was a petition to cut Butker with over 183,000 signatures.

@@inny74 I dunno. Women could vote in the 40s. I don't think women can vote in his world of fantasy. 😉 But maybe. I do wonder ... what color is the sky in his world?
@@inny74 So let’s recap. He talked about how women will likely find their happiest and most fulfilling place as a wife and with kids (which is factually true for both women and men). At no point did he ever say for women to not have a job or a career. He also talked about how the graduating class has had to deal with terrible leadership (specifically calling out Biden's support of abortion) over their formative years. Legitimately nothing bad in the entire 25 minute, just goes against the main stream media's opinions and therefore must be burnt down. Accepting of everything, as long as it isn’t different from their ideals 🙄
Dude said NOTHING WRONG. This story is fo fo lame
It's not like everyone at the college was exactly thrilled about his speech. The nuns from the college condemned the speech. I guess the women who decided to devote their lives in service to God and celibacy didn't appreciate being told of the value of being a homemaker.
I agree with what he said, I agree that it is the more fulfilling path for most (not all) women and has been for many years now. I disagree at the time and place he said it, right as a bunch of womens’ careers are about to take off he basically tells them they shouldn’t take off. I can understand how the speech got approved since it’s a catholic college and those kinds of principles are more in line with the Catholics than others who are chronically online. I understand the criticism, but hopefully, if nothing more than just the first amendment freedom of speech, he doesn’t lose his job/fined/anything like that. People can have different beliefs than others and we can all live together. Thanks for reading my TedTalk, I had nothing better to do on my day off 😅
Freedom of Speech only really applies to speaking out against the government. The Chiefs or even the NFL can cut him right now and they would be legally obligated to do so.
Harrison didn't say anything weird about women. Harrison said men should be masculine and women be feminine. Also talked about why America is the most crime ridden country. Bc most households in America are fatherless, we need to put father's back in the household.
Ha! Yeah. That's the problem. That'll solve everything. Way to make a blind assumption.
The way I see it, if giving a speech in front of people who agree with you completely negates the fact that what you said is straight up wrong then it doesn't matter what anyone says anywhere ever. Do I want to see him fired? No. Should he have been doxed? No. Does he deserve all the criticism in the world? Most definitely.
