    I am 190 I always been 145 my whole life at one point lower than that I've gained over 50 lbs in the last 4 years and now that I am engaged I am wanting more to be healthy again. czcams.com/users/postUgkx5VQ5nUzHu6i0O5_u7ipyLnCz0lbsSvr0 I am not fat but I am thick and have muscle. I am very close to how you were but a lil smaller but I am so sick people making comments to me like I'm huge or like you said having shorts that used to be so cute on me and now I can't even find a pair to fit me. I used to love shopping now I don't even want to go to the store and if I do I pick the biggest size don't even try it on and deal with it. I went from size 5 to size idk because I don't even want to know the real number. I hate looking at pics of myself now or me before. thank you for your video it's time to make a change.

      @JosephMarcellino Před 8 měsíci

      My man I totally relate to what you are saying. Freshman year of college I was at a peak weight of 248 pounds. I knew I had to make a change and during COVID I did a diet and went all the way down to 167. Unfortunately, I ended up gaining most of it back and I was at about 240. Diet plans do not work, you need something sustainable it's super important. Cutting fast food and meal prepping is essential. Not saying to never have it but don't until you hit your ideal weight. My current regiment that I have been on for about 3 weeks is to eat 1500 calories a day. I calorie count and it has worked incredibly well as I am more of an organizational person. When you are at your ideal weight let yourself have a cheat day or two, a week just don't overdo it too much, find lower cal meals that give you a lot of food if that makes sense. Exercise is important too, while I don't really go to the gym really at all since doing this diet I work at a school so I walk a lot and that's what you should try and shoot for. I would try and go for 4k steps a day which is totally doable in most cases. I know the feeling of shopping and getting comments, hating yourself the way you look in the mirror trust me, don't do it for them do it for you, do it because you want to become more healthier. You got this.👍

      @CaseyDoesMacros Před 3 měsíci

      Try macro counting versus just calorie counting. Also, adding weight lifting (progressive overload) is important to implement at some point.
      I’d say also to not give up foods you love “until you’re at goal” like the other commenter said, but to incorporate those favorites into your daily intake in moderation.
      Macro counting has worked well for me. I love the food freedom and peace I’ve found with my weight.

    I used to be really fat. I was on the verge of developing serious health conditions. I remember not being able to tie my shoelaces and my sleep suffered as well. My life changed when I finally set my mind to the thinking that anything is possible if you decide so. I took a meal plan to start with. I created it online, on dietarize, which was super helpful to me. I didn't have to worry about calories, macros, nutrients and all that stuff, I just focused on walking long distances and exercising after I got on a level where I could do some simple workouts. I hope my story will inspire you to do the same. To change your body you must first change your mind!

      It all starts in the mind not at the gym. Don't spend too much time looking up on fitness CZcamsrs just do the best you can. I have gained 10 kg in 3 yrs and I can't expect myself to loose all this 10 kg in the span of 3 months or so. It will take a year bcs I am being consistent with whatever I am following. And not restricting all of my favourite food I have them once in a while and feel satisfied and move on. It's been 3 months and there is slight progress but I have to keep going.

      I'd say counting calories is more for those who constantly go to the gym and are trying to build muscle. If you're simply trying to lose weight then just consider healthy alternatives and smaller portions. That with some exercise and you should reach your weight goal in the healthiest way possible.

    Please remember that counting calories is also a dangerous business if you have a history of eating disorders because it's easy to become obsessive over eating less and less calories each day. Or obsess over burning more calories than you eat. Calories are very good for you when they are from healthy foods! Your body needs it's recommended amount of calories each and every day in order to provide you the energy to live healthily. :)

I have tried a lot of diets, most of them were based only on cutting down the calories but I can tell you for sure that is not the answer. I was in despair until I discovered PrVen. This is the only supplement that targets the route cause of fat, elevated hormone levels due to toxic pollutants from the modern world. I have not only lost a LOT of weight but I feel healthier, my blood sugar levels are returning to normal ranges and I feel like a new person. For anyone sitting on the fence I would highly recommend giving ProVen a try for yourself.

      All you need to do to lose weight is burn more calories than you eat. Eating breakfast is better for you since your body has went about 8 hours (or how long you slept) without food, therefore breakfast helps gain more energy. Don't listen to stupid youtube videos, open a biology book.

      @@1am636 u do realise food is eaten for energy, we don't need a lot of energy when we sleep except for digestion and also think about the food u ate at night it gave u about 750 calories which u never used completely unless u went to gym before sleep so u don't need eat during, 8hours... I am just saying cuz biology testbooks contains the bare minimum knowledge which is not updated frequently.. For weight loss,eat less is not correct option, but eat right Is and exercise so u make use of the proteins and calories by exercising cuz the will turn to fat otherwise

    This comment section clearly show how uneducated some people are, saying the classic myths over and over again.
    Let me make it simple: Caloric Deficit=weight loss. That’s it.
    No need for keto diet, avoiding carbs, cardio (altho it’s overrated for weight loss it’s obviously helpful for being healthy), only eating “boring” food( altho will make you feel fuller, you could eat ice cream every single day and still lose weight if stays on a deficit, however you will be hungrier. That’s why the typical diets are rich in vegetables and fruits since they are low calories and will keep you full and satisfied while fast food is the exact opposite, thats why you are overweight in the first place since you were on a caloric surplus)
    Bonus: There will be a point once you eat the same amount of calories in your deficit that you will no longer lose weight, your body adapts at the caloric intake you consume. Thats why once you see you are stuck at a certain weight while on a deficit, you must decrease your calories or increase cardio in order to continue your weight loss. Also please don’t do an extreme caloric deficit since it will affect your metabolism and you will actually drop your BPM, it’s very dangerous.
    Yeah that’s it.

      Hello guys😍
      What is Meticore?
      Meticore is a supplement that users can use to improve their weight loss goals without dieting. The regimen only requires a capsule each day, and there is no need to work out. In a nutshell, the Meticore weight loss diet supplement is here to help, not harm.
      Losing weight seems like a difficult endeavor for anyone, and may feel like the only thing that an individual is losing is their mind. There’s so much confusion over what to eat and what they shouldn’t that anyone loses their willpower before they even see a smaller dress size. Taking supplements has become a rather popular way to make a difference, and Meticore asks nothing extra from the person who uses it.🥰
      Meticore focuses on helping consumers control their appetite in a way that requires almost no effort (beyond a daily dose). The formula is relatively user-friendly, even if there are a few restrictions. As users take the formula, they’ll notice improvements in their major organs’ functioning, and they’ll increase energy levels as their body loses weight. As a bonus, consumers will see changes in their digestive system as well.🥰

      Tell me... how well can a vehicle operate with no gas?.. why is it any different for the human body? Train yourself to be a healthier version. Because I guarantee you, you don’t feel like you’re healthy and in shape skipping breakfast. You go hours with no food (sleep) so why out it off and push your body on no fuel. Feed yourself. Take care of the only body you have. You’re probably a kid and don’t realize how important any of this really is.

      @@juli-hannah3569 I understand your trying to be positive, but comparing a human to a car isn't that accurate to be honest. Some people don't sleep enough but eat well, and still are capable of getting things done. Others who don't sleep well, but eat well might not be able to pay attention after lack of sleep. People all are different, for example people don't necessarily skip breakfast to lose weight. Yes, some people do but some people just can't eat in the morning. I know someone who wakes up, brushes their teeth and then they just skip breakfast. This person gets naucesous easily when eating in the morning, but then again this same person tries her best but every times she is still going to be naucesous. Calling someone a kid for a comment isn't quite right either. And yes you do go hours without food, but you aren't really doing anything where you're sleeping so when you wake up you will still have fuel. I'm not saying skipping breakfast is healthy but some have other reasons, instead of "wanting to be healthy", "losing weight".

    Slowly introduce more water, as you do retain alot! Drink water when you wake up and take a sip before you sleep (Usually having a glass by your bed helps)
    Eat more whole foods, and try get 30g of protein (minimum depending on your requirement) and swap high sugar drinks for mineral water, cut back on alcohol and go for half hour walks a day! This helped me alot !!

    Honestly pay attention to the high fiber and high in good fats food that doesn't make you feel hungry an hour or two later. Also, when you eat at a certain time every day you train your body to feel hungry at that time, for better of for worse. Exercise helps put off hunger for me, and helps me get good sleep at night that helps me have energy to keep exercising the next day, it's like a cycle so it's hard to begin but it gets easier the more you keep at it.
    And to anyone with an ED watching this; I really do wish you the best. You deserve better than what you're going through. I hope the world is kinder to you.

    Think you all could do a video regarding emotional eating? And ways to overcome it?

    • @platypusbuk
      @platypusbuk Před 8 lety +5

      Deal with the emotions, recognize your triggers, intercept the action and choose something else.
      it is literally that simply said. much more difficult in practice. you have full power over yourself, and deep down you know there are ways to acknowledge the pain with professional help, learn healthy coping mechanisms that are not eating (which releases chemical stimuli into the brain and makes you think its what is helping you) and take full responsability for you.
      You can do it. I recommend watching things like this CZcams Channel, Style Bell, And uplifting/ motivational things that wont just say pretty words that you want to hear; things that will teach you and help you use the tools you have but dont remember or have never been taught how to use.

      You can still eat a lot and loose weight as long as yoi are in a calorie deficit, the best deficit is 200-400/day can make you loose 1 pound of fat a week which is slow but sustainable you can do that for the rest of your life, not like eating less where you will resort to eating more after that.

    I don’t recommend counting calories. It can easily become obsessive and they aren’t necessarily indicative of how good a food is for you. Keeping a journal of everything you eat is still a good idea as you have a good overview of what is wrong with your diet and if you’re on the path to fixing it.

      I think it's more of "to each their own!" counting calories can be a very big hassle, but it's also helpful for some. I count calories using an application and I've been doing it for a long time. I just don't weigh my food or do much more intricate stuff, it's actually very simple so it doesn't stress me out at all.

    I just want to warn about calorie counting. While, yes, it is a useful tool to help figure out what is more healthy it can become an obsessive behaviour linked to eating disorders.
