When you say " pull the cap off" .this is incorrect as the real cap made of rubber is on the opposite side. I followed your instructions with that circular cap which then broke off. Im lucky i could glue the 3 contact points as this is part of the sensor for the alarm.

Why only the old bikes? I use it on my new KTM 390 adventure because it just is more easy has a alarm and you cant forget it.

Is there a knack to fitting battery as it doesn't seem to want to fit any advice please.

There is no manual for this online and the one it comes with is piss poor and you say cap but it’s a rubber rectangle where the led is. I’m not buying Kovix again… I too snapped the circular sensor and have to glue it back on.

Do we have to use it right front breaks or left??

Front would be better. But that depends on the bike. I'm going off the obvious here and saying yours is a twist and go. So really you'd want the the lock over the brake that has most of the weight on it. In the event that someone does want it, they will struggle to pick up the part of the bike that's locked.

Better if you actually fitted it to a bike
