Now pick up the leather reins and hold them exactly like you did the last ones, instead of letting them ride on the pads of your hand.
When you say that your coastal reins are about 32 inches long, does that include the rein chains, or is it just the braided reins?
That means only the rein. I have a leather strap connector which might be anywhere between 1" and 2" connecting the rein and the chain, and my rein chains usually are between 10" and 12" long
