As a large rc FLYER and aircraft designer and builder.
For a jet of that size the run way was far to short. And it had problems even before it took off.
But you can't tell some pepole As in 45 years of modeling iv tryed AND EVEN TO THIS DAY IM STILL LEARNING. SO FOR THIS IT'S A BIG 👎

Perhaps I'm wrong, but isn't that a narrow runway on the left side of the aircraft during take off? If so, why not give the plane a chance to develop enough speed for take off. Yes, I am an RC pilot.

First your grass is not smoothly cut the jet was bouncing along which slowed it acceleration . The runway would have helped the build speed . Your field is to short for heavy turbines

When I caught tall grass at the end of the runway with my freewing F-4D Phantom in a low high speed pass and completely destroyed it I got a little irritated but if I dumped a high cost model like this I really don't know how I'd react, knowing very well that crashes are a part of the hobby and everyone who flys rc planes crashes some more than others but the time and effort that turbine balsa fiberglass models take to build and dial in has got to leave the pilot somewhat nauseous, I know it would make me nauseous especially since I'm not a CEO or a lottery jackpot winner, condolences to the pilot

Scale Viperjets don’t convert to model size well, due to the exceptionally high wing loading of the narrow wing. I’ve seen more than their share of snap (wing stall) crashes on the turn to final approach.
