Wonderful adaptation. The Badinerie just wouldn't work at a slower tempo, and let's face it, only a master like Kristine can keep a clear sound at such speed.
Are you ever going to do a tour in the U.S? I would do everything I can do get you a gig in Escanaba, Michigan. This town would love your fusion of Scandinavian Folk and Baroque! And you could do workshop/jam session with local musicians. I play in a newly formed baroque ensemble, (I'm the recorder player. :)) and we're talking about getting together in a jam session with a local Celtic Folk band. You guys gave me the inspiration for that idea!
